Depuis 2011, la poste thaïlandaise émet chaque année un timbre intitulé "Symbole d'amour".
Le 7 février 2020, un nouveau timbre (5 baht) a été mis en circulation, imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres, représentant un ours en peluche serrant un cœur contre lui, sur fond de fleurs en forme de cœurs (et pailletés).
Ce timbre (tirage : 800000), conçu par Euamporn Supharoekchai, figure en 3 exemplaires sur la jolie lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 7 juin 2020 depuis le bureau de poste de Sam Sen Nai dans le quartier de Phaya Thai (centre de Bangkok), où est situé le musée philatélique thaïlandais. On February 7, 2020, a new stamp (5 Baht) was put into circulation, printed in sheetlet of 10 stamps, depicting a teddy bear hugging a heart, with heart-shaped (and glitter) flowers in the background.
This stamp (print run: 800,000), designed by Euamporn Supharoekchai, was used in three copies on the pretty cover below sent on June 7, 2020 from the Sam Sen Nai post office in the Phaya Thai district (central Bangkok), where the Thai Philatelic Museum is located. Thank you very much Thapanaphong!

Thapanaphong a utilisé 2 autres timbres identiques (1 baht), faisant partie d'une série courante (9 timbres) émise le 14 août 2017, consacrée à un pavillon Thaï traditionnel, faisant partie du centre culturel thaïlandais à Bangkok. Ce pavillon a été construit comme un mémorial de l'amitié Thaïlande-Japon.
A noter ce cachet en bas à gauche, appliqué avec une encre rouge par le musée philatélique thaïlandais, évoquant le 1er cas de Covid-19 détecté dans le pays, le 13 janvier 2020.
Ce 1er cas a été identifié sur une touriste chinoise de Wuhan qui a été scannée le 8 janvier à l'aéroport de Bangkok. En effet, les autorités thaïlandaises ont rapidement réagi en analysant, dès le 3 janvier 2020 (soit 3 jours après l'annonce officielle de cas à Wuhan), toutes les personnes arrivant en provenance de la Chine dans différents aéroports thaïlandais.
La Thaïlande (58 personnes décédées depuis le début de la pandémie) est considérée comme un des pays au monde le mieux préparé pour faire face à des catastrophes sanitaires majeures telles que les épidémies.
Thapanaphong used two other identical stamps (1 Baht), being part of a definitive series (9 stamps) issued on August 14, 2017, devoted to a traditional Thai pavilion, part of the Thailand's Cultural Center in Bangkok. This pavilion was built as a Thailand-Japan Friendship Memorial.
To note this cachet at the bottom left, applied with red ink by the Thai Philatelic Museum, evoking the 1st case of Covid-19 confirmed in the country, on January 13, 2020.
This 1st case was identified on a Chinese tourist from Wuhan who was scanned on January 8 at the Bangkok airport. Indeed, the Thai authorities reacted quickly by analyzing, from January 3, 2020 (i.e. 3 days after the official announcement of cases in Wuhan), all people arriving from China at various Thai airports.
Thailand (58 people who have died since the start of the pandemic) is considered as one of the countries in the world best prepared to face major health disasters such as epidemics.
