Timbre commun "30 ans du Groupe de Visegrád" sur lettre de Hongrie
Les 4 administrations postales de Hongrie, République tchèque, Slovaquie
et Pologne avaient déjà mis en circulation un timbre commun en 2011
pour commémorer le 20ème anniversaire de la création du Groupe de
Visegrád.
Ce Groupe de Visegrád, appelé aussi Visegrád 4 ou V4, a été créé en 1991 lors d'un sommet de chefs
d'état de Tchécoslovaquie, de Pologne et de Hongrie organisé dans la
ville hongroise de Visegrád.
Le but de cette organisation informelle
était alors de mettre en place des coopérations entre ces 3 pays (qui
deviendront 4 en 1993 après la partition de la Tchécoslovaquie) afin
d'accélérer le processus d'intégration européenne puis plus tard
l'intégration à l'Otan.
Le 15 février 2021, un nouveau timbre commun a
été mis en circulation par les 4 même pays, célébrant cette fois les 30
ans de ce Groupe de Visegrád.
The four
postal administrations of Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland
had already put into circulation a joint stamp in 2011 to commemorate
the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Visegrád Group.
This Visegrád Group,
also called Visegrád 4 or V4, was created in 1991 during a summit of
heads of state from Czechoslovakia, Poland and Hungary organized in the
Hungarian city of Visegrád.
The aim of this informal organization was
then to set up cooperation between these 3 countries (which became 4 in
1993 after the partition of Czechoslovakia) in order to accelerate the
process of European integration and later integration into NATO.
On
February 15, 2021, a new joint stamp was put into circulation by the
same 4 countries, this time celebrating the 30 years of this Visegrád
Group.
Il semble que ce timbre commun ait été émis à l'initiative de la
Pologne, qui présidait alors ce Groupe de Visegrád jusqu'au 30 juin 2021 (la Hongrie assure actuellement la présidence, jusqu'au 30 juin 2022), ce qui explique
sans doute pourquoi ce timbre a été conçu par l'artiste polonaise
Agnieszka Sobczyńska.
Les administrations postales des 4 pays ont
toutes émis ce timbre en
feuillet de 9 timbres avec la
mention "30 ans du Groupe de Visegrád" (dans la langue du pays) dans la
marge inférieure et la présence des drapeaux des 4 pays dans les marges à
gauche et droite (et le nom de chaque pays en anglais), comme pour la Slovaquie dans l'exemple ci-dessus.
La
version hongroise de ce timbre (600 HUF, tirage : 90000) figure sur cette
lettre envoyée le 14 décembre 2021 depuis la ville de Sopron (ouest du pays, près de la frontière
autrichienne). Merci beaucoup Janos !
Ce timbre représente 4 éléments imbriqués (des symboles de
maisons ?) associés au nombre 30 de cet anniversaire, faisant référence à
la coopération des 4 états membres tout en conservant leur
indépendance.
It seems that this joint stamp was issued on the initiative of Poland, which then chaired this Visegrád Group until June 30, 2021 (Hungary currently holds the presidency, until June 30, 2022), which explains without doubt why this stamp was designed by Polish artist Agnieszka Sobczyńska.
The postal
administrations of the 4 countries have all issued this stamp in a
sheetlet of 9 stamps with the mention "30 years of the Visegrád Group"
(in the language of the country) in the lower margin and the presence of
the flags of the 4 countries in the margins at left and right (and the
name of each country in English), as for Slovakia on the example above.
The Hungarian version of this stamp (HUF 600, print run: 90,000) was used on this cover sent on December 14, 2021 from the city of Sopron (west of the country, near the Austrian border). Thank you very much Janos!
This stamp features 4
interlocking elements (house symbols?) associated with the number 30 of
this anniversary, referring to the cooperation of the 4 member states
while maintaining their independence.
