This "é-max" exhibition, aimed at encouraging maxicard collectors to exhibit for fun, was initially to be organized in 2020 but was postponed to 2021 due to health restrictions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This "MAXI-timbré" Festival was organized jointly by the Philatelic Club of Ouistreham and the Maximaphiles Français, the association bringing together collectors of maxicards.

As part of this philatelic event, Phil@poste has put into circulation during the two days of this "é-max" exhibition, a new LISA (print run: 20,000) designed by Claude Perchat.
This pretty ATM stamp ("Ecopli" and "Green Letter" rates), representing the cabins on the Riva-Bella beach, the equestrian activities and the La Flamme Memorial, paying tribute to the Commando Kieffer and the June 1944 landing, was used on the two letters above and below, sent from this exhibition, with its associated postmark "é-max - maximaphile event" (horse's head). Thank you very much Rémi and Stéphane!

During these two days in Ouistreham, the Congress of Philatelic Associations of Basse-Normandie also took place, concerning about fifteen associations from the 3 departments of Orne, Manche and Calvados.
On this occasion, a 2nd postmark was offered to the public, applied to the two other covers below sent by Rémi and Stéphane.
This cancellation also represents this La Flamme memorial, inaugurated in 1984, erected on a shooting dome and paying tribute to the 177 French soldiers who took part in the military operations of the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944 (Sword Beach).
Around the monument, 10 small stelae bear the names of the commandos who fell between Colleville-Montgomery and Ouistreham, another recalls the memory of Commander Philippe Kieffer.
