"Postal History Exhibition at Prague Castle" postmark on cover from Czech Republic

TAD "Exposition sur l'histoire postale au château de Prague" sur lettre de République tchèque

Du 13 juillet au 27 juillet 2021, le bureau postal situé dans l'enceinte du château de Prague (Praha 012 - HRAD) a mis en circulation un TAD spécial à l'occasion d'une exposition organisée par la poste tchèque sur ce site, en collaboration avec le bureau du Président de la République tchèque.
Une partie de ce château de Prague est en effet la résidence officielle du Président tchèque, illustrée sur ce TAD conçu par Jan Kavan, appliqué le 27 juillet 2021 sur cette lettre. Merci beaucoup Slavek !
Cette exposition est consacrée à l'histoire postale (fourniture de services postaux, uniformes...) avec un focus sur la valeur artistique des timbres-poste et d'autres matériaux philatéliques attrayants liés à l'architecture et à l'art du château de Prague.
A la demande des représentants de la Présidence de la République, la tradition du portrait présidentiel sur les timbres-poste est également à l'honneur dans cette exposition.
From July 13 to July 27, 2021, the post office located within the grounds of Prague Castle (Praha 012 - HRAD) issued a special postmark on the occasion of an exhibition organized by the Czech Post on this site, in collaboration with the office of the President of the Czech Republic.
Part of this Prague Castle is indeed the official residence of the Czech President, illustrated on this postmark designed by Jan Kavan, applied on July 27, 2021 on this letter. Thank you very much Slavek!
This exhibition is devoted to postal history (provision of postal services, uniforms ...) with a focus on the artistic value of postage stamps and other attractive philatelic materials related to the architecture and art of the Prague Castle.
At the request of the representatives of the Presidency of the Republic, the tradition of the presidential portrait on postage stamps is also in the spotlight in this exhibition.

 

D'autres thématiques sont aussi proposées au public, comme le 100ème anniversaire de la fondation de la Tchécoslovaquie indépendante ou des symboles de l'état (décorations, armoiries...) apparues récemment sur des timbres-poste.
Slavek a utilisé un timbre (tarif permanent "E" pour un envoi jusqu'à 50g vers l'Europe - 39 CZK actuellement) émis le 22 mai 2019, faisant partie de la très jolie série (2 timbres) intitulée "Château de Prague au fil des saisons" représentant une même vue (inhabituelle) du château de Prague, en été et en hiver.
Ces 2 timbres, conçus par Adolf Absolon et gravés par Martin Srb, ont été imprimés dans un même feuillet composé de 2 paires séparées par une vignette centrale (allégorie de la couronne).
Pour rappel, ce timbre a été désigné plus beau timbre tchèque de l'année 2019.

Other themes are also offered to the public, such as the 100th anniversary of the founding of independent Czechoslovakia or state symbols (decorations, coats of arms, etc.) which have recently appeared on postage stamps.

Slavek used a stamp (permanent rate "E" for a shipment up to 50g to Europe - 39 CZK currently) issued on May 22, 2019, part of the very nice series (2 stamps) entitled "Prague Castle in the seasons of the year" representing the same (unusual) view of the Prague castle in summer and winter.

These 2 stamps, designed by Adolf Absolon and engraved by Martin Srb, were printed in the same sheetlet composed of 2 pairs separated by a central label (allegory of the crown). 

As a reminder, this stamp was chosen as the most beautiful Czech stamp of the year 2019.
