Un grand merci Bartek pour cette splendide lettre de Pologne, envoyée et transportée le 13 octobre 2022 à bord d'un train à l'occasion du 175ème anniversaire de la ligne de chemin de fer reliant les villes de Cracovie et Mysłowice, dans le sud du pays !
Cette lettre a en particulier été transportée par train entre les ville de Trzebinia et Cracovie, comme l'atteste cette empreinte spéciale en bas à gauche sur l'enveloppe "Przewieziono Pocztą Kolejową na trasie Trzebinia - Kraków".
Au départ à Trzebinia, un imposant TAD illustré a été appliqué sur cette lettre, représentant la gare de cette ville et mentionnant l'organisation d'une exposition philatélique à l'occasion de ce 175ème anniversaire. Un TAD classique a également été appliqué à l'arrivée du train à Cracovie.
Le grand timbre à droite (3,20 PLN, tirage : 90000), gravé par le maître Slania, fait partie d'un bloc-feuillet émis le 1er septembre 2002 à l'occasion du 18ème Congrès général des délégués de l'Association philatélique polonaise, organisé cette année-là à Ciechocinek.

This letter was in particular transported by train between the cities of Trzebinia and Kraków, as evidenced by this special imprint at the bottom left of the envelope "Przewieziono Pocztą Kolejową na trasie Trzebinia - Kraków".
At the departure in Trzebinia, an imposing illustrated postmark was applied to this envelope, representing the railway station of this city and mentioning the organization of a philatelic exhibition on the occasion of this 175th anniversary. A classic postmark was also applied when the train arrived in Krakow.
The large stamp on the right (3.20 PLN, print run: 90,000), engraved by master Slania, is part of a souvenir sheet issued on September 1, 2002 on the occasion of the 18th General Convention of the Delegates of the Polish Philatelic Association, organized that year in Ciechocinek. 

 

Le 25 mars 2022, la poste polonaise a mis en circulation un timbre de solidarité avec l'Ukraine ("Nous sommes avec vous!" - "Jesteśmy z Wami!" en polonais) suite à l'invasion russe du 24 février 2022.
La Pologne fait ainsi partie des administrations postales (Lettonie, Croatie, Autriche, Slovaquie, Estonie, Lituanie, Espagne, Canada, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Italie) ayant également émis des timbres en soutien avec l'Ukraine et les ukrainiens.
Ce timbre (tarif "Prioritaire S", tirage : 3000000), conçu par Paweł Myszka, a été utilisé également sur cette enveloppe. La poignée de main aux couleurs nationales de la Pologne et de l'Ukraine doit souligner l'unité, la communauté de valeurs partagées et annoncer l'engagement à la reconstruction d'une nouvelle Ukraine indépendante après la fin de l'occupation russe.
Depuis le début de cette terrible guerre, la Pologne est le pays européen ayant accueilli le plus de réfugiés ukrainiens (près de 1500000 à ce jour).
Le 3ème timbre ci-dessus (0,30 PLN, conception : Jan Konarzewski), émis le 7 mars 2022, commémore le 200ème anniversaire de la naissance de Louis Pasteur.
Pionnier de la microbiologie, le scientifique, chimiste et physicien de formation français Louis Pasteur (1822-1895) connut, de son vivant même, une grande notoriété pour avoir mis au point, entre autres, un vaccin contre la rage.
Plus largement, ses découvertes ont bouleversé les conceptions de la pathologie infectieuse, influencé la chimie biologique et créé de nouvelles méthodes industrielles, faisant de ce travailleur infatigable l'une des figures mondiales les plus célèbres de la science.
D'autres administrations postales ont émis ou vont émettre des timbres consacrés à Louis Pasteur en 2022 : Liechtenstein, Hongrie, Moldavie, France, Andorre, Macédoine du Nord... 

On March 25, 2022, the Polish Post released a stamp of solidarity with Ukraine ("We are with you!" - "Jesteśmy z Wami!" in Polish) following the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022.

Poland is thus part of the postal administrations (Latvia, Croatia, Austria, Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania, Spain, Canada, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Italy) which have also issued stamps in support of Ukraine and the Ukrainians.

This stamp ("Priority S" rate, print run: 3,000,000), designed by Paweł Myszka, was also used on this envelope. The handshake in the national colors of Poland and Ukraine should emphasize unity, the community of shared values ​​and announce the commitment to the reconstruction of a new independent Ukraine after the end of the Russian occupation.

Since the start of this terrible war, Poland has been the European country that has hosted the most Ukrainian refugees (nearly 1,500,000 to date).
