Nouveaux entiers postaux tchèques

On September 5, 2012, the Czech Post has released a new commemorative card (postal stationery) celebrating a strange 84th anniversary...
It is that postal stationery below commemorating the 84 years of the Harley-Davidson Club of Prague (HCP), created in 1928 by Bohumil Turek, the manager of a company (Tesárek) importing motorcycles of this famous American brand (founded in 1903) in Czechoslovakia.
This Harley Club of Prague is today considered as the oldest existing club of its kind in the world, which probably explain the issue of this special card !

Thank you very much Bret for this nice card (sent on the first day of issue) from Prague :-)
This postal stationery (sold at a price of 15 Kč) includes a permanent up to 50g domestic rate "A" (10 Kč now). Bret has added another "A" stamp (Folk Architecture, issued on February 23, 2011) to achieve the rate for a shipment to Europe.
The Czech Post has again called upon Václav Zapadlík, the designer of the "Classic cars" booklet recently issued, for the creation of this card with a historical model "Streamline" (1926) at the top right and the same type of Harley-Davidson with a sidecar on the illustration to the left (with the emblem of the Harley Club of Prague).

I've already widely mentioned on this blog the beautiful souvenir sheet "Beauty of Orchids" issued by the Czech Post on September 5, 2012.
Bret had indeed been kind enough to send me several philatelic products derived from this sheet : the four official FDC (one issued for each stamp) and the four maxicards.
On September 13, 2012, a new piece has been issued (the postal stationery above) concerning the issue of that same sheet during a launching ceremony at the Botanical Garden of Prague. This (domestic "A" rate) card (with a horn), includes another stamp (issued on January 30, 2008) being part of the definitive series "Beauty of flowers", a rose here.
To note that the designers of this souvenir sheet, Libuše Knotková and Jaromír Knotek, attended this ceremony and have signed this card above at the bottom left, under the illustration (a hummingbird and a Laelia tenebrosa Orchid) and in front of the special postmark that they have also designed !

I've also already mentioned on this blog the stamp, issued on January 20, 2012, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Josef Liesler (1912-2005), painter, illustrator and stamp designer.
Liesler has indeed designed more than a hundred stamps for Czechoslovakia and Czech Republic.
It is that stamp (10 Kč) that appears in the bottom right on the other commemorative card above issued on the occasion of the exhibition "Three generations of Liesler" organized in his hometown of Kadaň from 15 to 30 September 2012. Thank you very much Pavel :-)
The Special postmark above, designed by František Veselý, was only released by the post office of Kadaň from 15 to 19 September 2012 (Liesler's exact birthday).
