Le 26 février 2020 (Année 109 localement), la Chunghwa Post de Taïwan a mis en circulation la 2ème partie (4 timbres) d'une jolie série consacrée à différentes espèces de poissons rouges ("Goldfish" en anglais).
Ces différents poissons rouges (200 espèces recensées) sont originaires de Chine et sont des poissons d'eau douce issus d'une mutation de l'espèce carassin commun (Carassius carassius).
En Asie, en Chine ou a Taïwan en particulier, le fait de posséder un poisson rouge (considéré parfois comme un animal de compagnie...) porte chance.
Un grand merci George pour ces 4 jolis plis concernant chacun un des 4 timbres de cette série (conception : Jheng Yi-lang), oblitérés avec des TADs spécifiques mis en circulation le 1er jour d'émission dans 4 villes taïwanaises différentes!
On February 26, 2020 (the year 109 locally), the Chunghwa Post of Taiwan put into circulation the 2nd part (4 stamps) of a nice series devoted to different species of goldfish.
These different goldfish (200 listed species) are native to China and are freshwater fish derived from a mutation of the crucian carp (Carassius carassius).
In Asia, China or Taiwan in particular, owning a goldfish (sometimes considered as a pet ...) is symbol of good luck.
A big thank you George for these 4 nice covers concerning each one of the 4 stamps of this series (design: Jheng Yi-lang), canceled with specific postmarks put into circulation the first day of issue in 4 different cities of Taiwan!
Le timbre ci-dessus (6 NT$) est consacré à une espèce appelée "Red Crane Crest Oranda", un poisson au corps totalement blanc avec une excroissance rouge sur le dessus de la tête.
Avec sa coloration de bon augure, les collectionneurs chinois considèrent cette espèce comme incarnant l'idée des "opportunités à saisir".
Le TAD ci-dessus a été mis en circulation dans la ville de Kaoshiung, située sur la côte sud-ouest de l'île (cf la carte de Taïwan ci-dessous incluant les différents sites d'émission de cette série).
The stamp above (NT $ 6) is dedicated to a species called "Red Crane Crest Oranda", a fish with a completely white body with a red outgrowth on the top of the head.
With its auspicious coloration, Chinese collectors regard it as embodying the idea of "opportunity knocks".
The cancellation above was put into circulation in the city of Kaoshiung, located on the southwest coast of the island (see the map of Taiwan below including the different places of issue of this series).
Le 2ème timbre ci-dessous (9 NT$) représente une espèce appelée "Ranchu" ou "tête de buffle", ayant un corps lisse de forme ovoïde comme celui d'un œuf.
Ce poisson a une grosse tête, un ventre rond, une courte nageoire caudale et aucune nageoire dorsale, et une excroissance au niveau de la tête. À Taiwan, cette espèce est connue comme le "Roi des poissons rouges".
Le TAD a été mis en circulation par le bureau postal de Miaoli, ville située dans le nord-ouest de Taïwan.
The 2nd stamp below (NT $ 9) features a species called "Ranchu" or "buffalo head", having a smooth ovoid-shaped body like that of an egg.
This fish has a large head, a round belly, a short caudal fin and no dorsal fin, and an outgrowth on the head. In Taiwan, this species is known as the "King of goldfish".
The postmark was put into circulation by the postal office of Miaoli, a city located in the northwest of Taiwan.
Un poisson de la variété "Ryukin", appelé "Broadtail Ryukin", est représenté sur le 3ème timbre ci-dessous (15 NT$).
Les principales caractéristiques de cette espèce (rouge et blanche) sont sa petite tête, ses lèvres marquées, son absence d'excroissance, son corps court à ventre rond, sa grande queue et sa nageoire caudale en éventail.
Le TAD a été mis en circulation à Yuenlin, ville située dans le centre-ouest de Taïwan.
A fish of the variety "Ryukin", called "Broadtail Ryukin", is represented on the 3rd stamp below (NT $ 15).
The main characteristics of this (red and white) species are its small head, its marked lips, its absence of outgrowth, its short body with round belly, its large tail and its fan-shaped caudal fin.
The cancellation was put into circulation in Yuenlin, a city located in west-central Taiwan.
Le dernier timbre de cette série (17 NT$) est consacré à un poisson de la variété "Pompon", caractérisé par ses petites excroissances rondes sur la tête au niveau des yeux, ressemblant à des boules brodées, d'où son nom chinois de "poisson rouge boule brodée".
Lorsque ces boules sont particulièrement grosses, elles attirent l'attention car elles tremblent rythmiquement avec la respiration du poisson.
Le TAD a été mis en circulation à Xinzhu, ville située dans le nord-ouest de Taïwan.
The last stamp in this series (NT $ 17) is devoted to a fish of the "Pompon" variety, characterized by its small round outgrowths on the head at eye level, resembling embroidered balls, hence its Chinese name of "embroidered ball goldfish".
When these balls are particularly big, they attract people's attention as they rhythmically shake with the fish's breathing.
The postmark was put into circulation in Xinzhu, a city located in the northwest of Taiwan.
