The European Political Community (EPC) is an informal body for intergovernmental cooperation, launched on the initiative of Emmanuel Macron during the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2022 in the context of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
Can be seen as a forum, its objective is to promote political dialogue and cooperation in order to respond to issues of common interest, so as to strengthen the security, stability and prosperity of the European continent.
The discussions during this 8th Summit focused on four main themes : strengthening democratic resilience, improving connectivity, enhancing economic and energy security, and responding to evolving security dynamics and regional challenges.

On May 4, 2026, the Armenian Post put into circulation a stamp (320 AMD; print run: 10,000; design: "Factory Production" LLC) dedicated to this 8th European Political Community Summit.
Two copies of this stamp have been used on the registered cover above, sent from Yerevan on May 12, 2026. Many thanks, Sedrak!
The stamp simply features the logo and visual identity of this summit.
The next European Political Community Summit will take place on November 12, 2026, in Dublin, Ireland—the country currently holding the presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Sedrak used two other identical stamps above (design: David Dovlatyan), issued on March 5, 2025, part of the 19th definitive series (380 AMD, Coat of Arms of the Last King of Armenia (Cilicia), Levon VI (1373-1375)).

Sedrak also used six other stamps on the other side of his envelope above; one of these (appearing in five copies), issued on October 20, 2021, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan.
This stamp (290 AMD; print run: 20,000; design: Rem Saakyan) depicts the façade of the Komitas State Conservatory building in Yerevan, as well as the monument to Komitas located in the park in front of the conservatory.
As Armenia's leading public institution for higher musical education, the conservatory is named after Komitas (born Soghomon Soghomonian), an Armenian priest, composer, and musicologist who lived from 1869 to 1935. He is universally regarded as the father of modern Armenian music and a major pioneer of ethnomusicology.
The sixth stamp above (350 AMD; print run: 40,000; design: Vahagn Mkrtchyan) was issued on December 15, 2014, as part of the annual "RCC" (Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications) series, which focused on winter sports—specifically alpine skiing here—that year.
