Après des expositions consacrées aux oeuvres des concepteurs et graveurs Miloš Ondrácek en 2011 et Oldřich Kulhánek en 2012, la ville tchèque de Jilemnice, en collaboration avec le musée des Monts des Géants (Krkonošské muzeum) et le musée postal de Prague, organise cette année une nouvelle manifestation philatélique consacrée cette fois au graphiste et concepteur de timbres-poste, Vladimír Suchánek (né en 1933).
Intitulée "Suchánek's Graphic and Stamp Design", cette exposition, organisée au musée des Monts des Géants, permet de découvrir de nombreux dessins préparatoires à la conception de timbres par Vladimír Suchánek, qui fête son 80ème anniversaire cette année.
After the previous exhibitions devoted to the works of designers and engravers Miloš Ondráček in 2011 and Oldřich Kulhánek in 2012, the Czech town of Jilemnice, in collaboration with the Museum of Giant Mountains (Krkonošské Muzeum) and the Postal Museum in Prague, organizes this year a new philatelic event devoted this time to the graphic artist and stamp designer, Vladimír Suchánek (b. 1933).
Entitled "Suchánek's Graphic and Stamp Design", this exhibition, organized at the Museum of Giant Mountains, reveals numerous preparatory drawings for the design of stamps by Vladimír Suchánek, who celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.
J'avais déjà évoqué sur ce blog une autre exposition consacrée à Vladimír Suchánek, organisée au musée postal de Prague du 24 avril au 23 juin 2013 (un TAD spécial avait été émis).
Pour rappel, Vladimír Suchánek a conçu 22 timbres pour la poste tchèque entre 1996 et 2005, dont la série courante consacrée aux 12 signes du zodiaque. Son 1er timbre était consacré au photographe Josef Sudek et le plus récent (en 2005) représentait un oeuf de Pâques.
Pour cette nouvelle exposition à Jilemnice, la poste tchèque a émis, le 2 octobre 2013, l'entier postal ci-dessus, conçu par Vladimír Suchánek lui-même, avec un timbre (tarif intérieur jusqu'à 50g 'A', 13 CZK actuellement) montrant la place centrale de cette ville et en particulier la tour et l'édifice abritant l'hôtel de ville.
L'illustration à gauche évoque une partie de la Nativité, un ensemble unique conçu en 1913 par le professeur Jáchym Metelka et composé de 142 personnages animés, conservé dans ce musée des Monts des Géants.
I had already mentioned on this blog an other exhibition devoted to Vladimír Suchánek, held in the Postal Museum in Prague from 24 April to 23 June 2013 (a special postmark was issued).
As a reminder, Vladimír Suchánek designed 22 stamps for the Czech Post between 1996 and 2005, including the definitive series devoted to the 12 signs of the zodiac. His first stamp was devoted to the photographer Josef Sudek and his last one (issued in 2005) depicted an Easter egg.
For this new exhibition in Jilemnice, the Czech Post has issued on October 2, 2013 the postal stationary above, designed by Vladimír Suchánek himself, with a stamp (domestic up to 50g rate 'A', 13 CZK) showing the central square of this city and in particular the tower and the building housing the town hall.
The illustration on the left evokes a part of the Nativity scene, a unique set made in 1913 by Professor Jáchym Metelka and composed of 142 moving figures, kept in this Museum of Giant Mountains.
Bret (merci beaucoup !) m'a également envoyé le 2 octobre 2013 la 2ème carte pré-affranchie (tarif jusqu'à 50g vers l'Europe, 25 CZK actuellement) ci-dessus émise spécialement pour l'exposition philatélique ("Briefmarken-Messe") organisée à Berlin les 12 et 13 octobre 2013.
Cette carte rappelle ainsi que la poste tchèque était présente à cette manifestation (je suppose que l'illustration à gauche est inspirée d'une carte postale ancienne ?).
Cette carte comporte le logo de PostFila, un département spécialisé de la poste tchèque créé en 1992, impliqué dans toutes les activités liées à la conception et la production de timbres et de produits philatéliques dans le pays.
Bret (thank you so much !) also sent me on October 2, 2013 the second prepaid card (Europe's up to 50g rate, currently 25 CZK) above issued specifically for the Philatelic Exhibition ("Briefmarken-Messe") held in Berlin on 12 and 13 October 2013.
This card is reminding us that the Czech Post was present at this event (I guess that the picture on the left is inspired by an old postcard ?).
This card features the logo of PostFila, a specialized department of the Czech Post created in 1992, involved in all activities related to the design and production of stamps and philatelic products in the country.
