Dans le cadre des festivités de la Fête Nationale, célébrée chaque année le 9 août, la poste de Singapour a mis en circulation, le 9 août 2019, une intéressante série (4 timbres + 1 bloc-feuillet) consacrée à différents parcs du pays et à des activités que l'on peut y pratiquer.
Cette série nous rappelle que Singapour est souvent considérée comme "une ville dans un jardin" tant les espaces verts y sont nombreux, en harmonie avec les habitations et les axes de circulation...
C'est ce bloc-feuillet (conception : Nicodemus Loh FC), composé d'un timbre à 2$, qui figure sur le joli FDC officiel ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Terence !
A noter que Nicodemus Loh FC avait déjà conçu, entre autres, une série sur le même thème, "Notre ville dans un jardin" en 2013.
En plus du TAD Premier Jour avec l'intitulé de cette série, "Parks", à noter ce cachet en haut à gauche avec mention de cette Fête Nationale 2019, incluant 2 mains formant un cœur.
As part of the festivities of the National Day, celebrated every year on August 9th, the Singapore Post has put into circulation, on August 9, 2019, an interesting series (4 stamps + 1 souvenir sheet) devoted to different parks of the country and activities that can be practiced there.
This series reminds us that Singapore is often considered as "a city in a garden" as the green spaces are numerous, in harmony with the houses and the axes of circulation ...
This is this souvenir sheet (design: Nicodemus Loh FC), consisting of a $ 2.00 stamp, which is present on the beautiful official FDC below. Thank you very much Terence!

Ce bloc-feuillet, avec une carte de l'île principale de Singapour dans le fond, reprend le thème des 4 timbres de cette série, consacrés chacun à un parc différent : Admiralty Park, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, East Coast Park et Labrador Park.
Admiralty Park est un parc évoquant une vallée fluviale, situé dans le nord de l'île principale, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park (créé en 1988 et redéveloppé en 2012) est un grand parc situé au centre de l'île (quartier de Bishan) avec la rivière Kallang au milieu, East Coast Park est un parc situé sur la côte sud-est de l'île, construit uniquement sur des terres gagnées sur la mer dans les années 1970, Labrador Park (créé en 1951) est une réserve naturelle située dans le sud du pays et abrite la seule falaise rocheuse accessible au public.
