Le 5 août 2019, la poste française a mis en circulation un nouveau carnet (12 timbres) intitulé "Repères de nos côtes", consacré à différents phares situés sur le littoral de la France métropolitaine, sur terre ou au large en mer.
Parmi les 150 phares construits en France (y compris en outremer), 25 sont situés en mer et sont appelés des "enfers", impliquant souvent des relèves dangereuses avant qu'ils ne soient automatisés...
Un des timbres autocollants (tarif "Lettre Prioriaire" - 1,05€) de ce carnet figure sur le pli Premier Jour ci-dessous, avec TAD de Paris du 2 août 2019. Merci beaucoup Roland !
Ce carnet a été conçu par l'illustrateur normand Yves Montron, passionné par les phares depuis des années et qui avait publié avec son fils Enguerran, un livre en 2007 intitulé "Les Phares".

Among the 150 lighthouses built in France (including overseas territories), 25 are located at sea and are called "hells", often involving dangerous turns before being automated ...
One of the self-adhesive stamps ("Prioritary Letter" rate - € 1.05) of this booklet was used on the First Day cover below, with cancellations from Paris of August 2, 2019. Thank you very much Roland!
This booklet was designed by Norman illustrator Yves Montron, passionate about lighthouses for years and who had published with his son Enguerran, a book in 2007 entitled "The Lighthouses".
Le timbre ci-dessus est consacré au phare de La Hague, ou phare de Goury, construit à 800 mètres au large du cap de La Hague (Manche), sur le rocher dit "le Gros du Raz".
Ce phare (52 mètres de haut) signale en particulier le raz Blanchard, considéré comme l'un des courants de marée les plus forts d'Europe.
Monument historique depuis 2009, il a été construit entre 1834 et 1837 par l'ingénieur Morice de La Rue, électrifié en 1971 et automatisé en 1989.
Parmi les autres phares à l'honneur dans ce carnet, certains ont déjà été timbrifiés dans le passé (Cordouan, Ar-Men, Chassiron).
Sauf erreur de ma part, le phare du Four (Bretagne) est représenté sur le TAD, également conçu par Yves Montron.
The stamp above is dedicated to the lighthouse of La Hague, or lighthouse of Goury, built 800 meters off the cape of La Hague (Channel), on the rock called "Gros du Raz".
