"PyeongChang Winter Olympics 2018" stamp set on FDC from Liechtenstein

As has been the case since 2008 (Olympic Games in Beijing), the Post of Liechtenstein has once again had the good idea of calling upon an artist living in the country where these games take place for the design of its series devoted to the winter Olympic Games organized in 2018 (from February 9 to 25) in PyeongChang, South Korea.
After the famous Brazilian neo-pop artist Romero Britto for the Rio Olympic Games in 2016, it is the South Korean artist Sojung Kim-McCarthy, who currently resides in Bournemouth, United Kingdom, who therefore designed this series of two stamps issued on November 13, 2017.
These two stamps are present on the official FDC below, with postmark from Vaduz, with the emblem of the National Olympic Committee of Liechtenstein, consisting of the Olympic rings and the princely crown, on the envelope, the postmark and the two stamps.

These two stamps (printed by Gutenberg AG) illustrate the two disciplines, cross-country skiing (CHF 1.70) and alpine skiing (CHF 2.00), in which the 3 athletes (1 woman, 2 men) from Liechtenstein were involved in PyeongChang.
At these PyeongChang Olympics, Liechtenstein won one medal, the bronze in the women's super G thanks to Tina Weirather, the first Olympic podium for this country since Paul Frommelt (slalom) in Calgary in 1988.
In 19 participations in the Olympic Winter Games (since 1936), the small Principality of Liechtenstein has won 10 medals (2 gold, 2 silver, 6 bronze) in 5 editions, all won in alpine skiing events.
Among these 10 medals, 4 were won by Hanni Wenzel (in 1976 and 1980), the mother of Tina Weirather who retired from sport at the end of the 2019-2020 season.
