Timbres "Rétrocession de Macao" et "Jeux asiatiques de plage" sur lettre de Chine
Après plus de 400 ans de présence portugaise, la dernière colonie
européenne d'Asie, Macao, était officiellement rétrocédée à la Chine le
20 décembre 1999, devenant une région administrative spéciale au sein de
la République Populaire de Chine, un statut semblable à celui de Hong
Kong.
Pour célébrer le 10ème anniversaire de ce retour à la "mère patrie", les administrations postales de Macao et de Chine ont émis le 20 décembre 2009, une série de 3 timbres (dont un timbre commun).
Les 3 timbres chinois (2 timbres à 1,20 yuan, 1 timbre à 1,50 yuan), conçus par He Jie, ont été utilisés en haut à droite sur cette lettre envoyée le 16 mars 2024 depuis Beijing. Merci beaucoup Ruinan !
Le timbre à droite, commun avec Macao, représente le drapeau chinois et celui de Macao, avec au centre la sculpture
"Fleur de lotus en pleine floraison" dorée (6 mètres de haut), érigée en 1999.
La fleur de lotus symbolise la prospérité éternelle
de Macao et figure de façon stylisée sur son drapeau (incluant également
les 5 étoiles du drapeau chinois).
After more than 400 years of Portuguese
presence, the last European colony in Asia, Macau, was officially
returned to China on December 20, 1999, becoming a Special
Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, a status
similar as Hong Kong.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of this return to the "motherland", the postal administrations of Macau and China issued on December 20, 2009, a series of 3 stamps (including a joint stamp).
The 3 Chinese stamps (2 stamps at 1.20 yuan, 1 stamp at 1.50 yuan), designed by He Jie, have been used at the top right on this cover sent on March 16, 2024 from Beijing. Thank you very much Ruinan!
The stamp on the right, the joint issue with Macau, represents the Chinese flag and that of Macau, with in the center the golden sculpture "Lotus flower in full bloom" (6 meters high), erected in 1999.
The lotus flower symbolizes the eternal
prosperity of Macau and appears in a stylized way on its flag (also
including the 5 stars of the Chinese flag).
Le timbre au centre symbolise
le lien entre la Place du Sénat ("Largo do Senado") située dans le
centre historique de Macao et un aspect plus futuriste avec la "Macau
Sky Tower", une tour de télécommunications de 338 mètres de haut, inaugurée en 2001. Cette place du
Sénat abrite le Leal Senado (à droite sur le timbre) qui était le siège de l'assemblée législative et
du gouvernement lorsque Macao était encore une colonie portugaise.
La mention CEPA ("Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement") sur ce timbre fait référence à l'accord de rapprochement économique entre la Chine et Macao signé en 2003.
Le 3ème timbre de cette série illustre la prospérité de ce territoire à travers des infrastructures modernes comme le pont de Sai Van au premier plan, reliant l'île de Taipa et la péninsule de Macao depuis 2004, le centre des sciences à l'architecture futuriste à gauche ou encore les célèbres casinos dont la tour "Grand Lisboa" (261 mètres, ouverte en 2007) et sa forme si particulière (fleur de lotus).
Ruinan a complété son affranchissement avec les 3 timbres (1,20 yuan) d'une série (conception : Zhang Qiang) émise le 16 juin 2012 à l'occasion des 3èmes jeux asiatiques de plage organisés du 16 au 22 juin 2012 dans la ville chinoise de Haiyang.
Lors de ces jeux (1336 athlètes venant de 43 pays, 13 sports différents), la Chine a dominé le classement des médailles (36 au total dont 14 en or), devant la Thaïlande et la Corée du sud. Parmi les 13 sports au programme, le beach-volley, le wakeboard et le roller de vitesse (un sport de plage ?) sont illustrés sur cette série (incluant le logo de ces jeux en bas à gauche).
The stamp in the center symbolizes the link between the Senate Square ("Largo do Senado") located in the historic center of Macau and a more futuristic aspect with the "Macau Sky Tower", a 338 meter high telecommunications tower, inaugurated in 2001. This Senate Square is home to the Leal Senado (on the right on the stamp) which was the seat of the legislature and government when Macau was still a Portuguese colony.
The mention CEPA ("Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement") on this stamp refers to the Mainland and Macau Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement signed in 2003.
The 3rd stamp in this series illustrates the prosperity of this territory through modern infrastructure such as the Sai Van Bridge in the foreground, connecting the island of Taipa and the Macau peninsula since 2004, the Macau Science Center with its futuristic architecture on the left or the famous casinos including the "Grand Lisboa" tower (261 meters, opened in 2007) and its very particular shape (lotus flower).
Ruinan completed his franking with the 3 stamps (1.20 yuan) of a series (design: Zhang Qiang) issued on June 16, 2012 on the occasion of the 3rd Asian Beach Games organized from June 16 to 22, 2012 in the Chinese city of Haiyang.
During these games (1,336 athletes from 43 countries, 13 different sports), China dominated the medal rankings (36 in total including 14 gold), ahead of Thailand and South Korea. Among the 13 sports on the program, beach volleyball, wakeboarding and roller speed skating (a beach sport?) are illustrated in this series (including the logo of these games at the bottom left).
