EUROPA 2013 stamp set from Estonia - FDC

Pour illustrer le thème choisi en 2013 pour les timbres EUROPA, les véhicules postaux, la poste estonienne a choisi, comme de nombreuses autres administrations postales (France, Italie, Moldavie, Suisse, Finlande...), d'émettre 2 timbres se-tenant représentant des moyens anciens et nouveaux utilisés pour le transport du courrier.

A noter le TAD Premier Jour de Tallinn ayant la forme d'un fourgon postal contemporain ainsi que l'illustration à gauche évoquant un mini bus postal utilisé dans la ville de Tartu dans les années 1960 sous l'ère soviétique...
To illustrate the theme chosen in 2013 for the EUROPA stamps, "Postal vehicles", the Estonian Post has chosen, like many other postal administrations (France, Italy, Moldova, Switzerland, Finland...), to issue two se-tenant values featuring some old and new means used for mail transportation.

To note the FDC cancellation from Tallinn having the shape of a contemporary postal van as well as the illustration to the left depicting a mini postal bus used in the city of Tartu in the 1960s during the Soviet era...

Ces 2 timbres (1€ chacun, tirage : 100000), conçus par Jaan Saar, ont été émis dans une même feuille composée de 10 timbres.
Le timbre à gauche évoque un transport de courrier en milieu rural avec une diligence postale tractée par 2 chevaux, utilisée dans les années 1840.
L'autre timbre est consacré plutôt au transport postal en milieu urbain avec un véhicule utilitaire (Fiat Ducato ?) utilisé aujourd'hui par la poste estonienne. L'emblème de la poste (un cor postal) y figure ainsi qu'une référence à son service de distribution du courrier "ELS Kuller".
Près de 350 véhicules postaux sont utilisés aujourd'hui par la poste estonienne pour le transport du courrier, parcourant 40000 km chaque jour...
These two stamps (€ 1.00 each, print run : 100,000), designed by Jaan Saar, have been issued in a same sheet composed of 10 stamps.
The stamp to the left evokes a mail transport in rural areas with a stagecoach pulled by two horses, used in the 1840s.
The other stamp is devoted rather to postal transport in urban areas with a commercial vehicle (a Fiat Ducato ?) used today by the Estonian Post. The emblem of the Post (a post horn) is included on this van as well as a reference to the courier service called "ELS Kuller".
Nearly 350 postal vehicles are used today by the Estonian Post for the carriage of mail, covering about 40,000 kilometres every day...
