A l'occasion d'une exposition philatélique organisée par un prêtre catholique, IkCheol CHOI, un TAD spécial a été mis en circulation par la poste coréenne, le 2 mars 2017 (+ d'autres jours ?), par le bureau de poste principal de Séoul.
J'ai eu la chance (merci beaucoup Ji-Ho !) de recevoir cet aérogramme (450 won) représentant un jeune garçon en costume traditionnel jouant d'un instrument appelé "taepyeongso" (signifiant "flûte de bambou de la paix"), oblitéré avec ce TAD.
On the occasion of a philatelic exhibition organized by a catholic priest, IkCheol CHOI, a special postmark was put into circulation by the Korean Post on March 2, 2017 (+ other days ?), by the central post office in Seoul.
I was lucky enough (thank you so much Ji-Ho!) to receive this aerogramme (450 won) featuring a young boy in traditional costume playing a wind instrument called "taepyeongso" (meaning "bamboo flute of peace"), canceled with this postmark.
L'autre côté de cet aérogramme montre une vue d'un pavillon ("Juhamnu") faisant partie du palais de Changdeokgung (15ème siècle, dynastie Joseon), situé à Séoul, inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 1997.
Ce TAD représente la célèbre Pietà (1498), une statue en marbre de Michel-Ange située dans la basilique Saint-Pierre au Vatican.
The other side of this aerogramme shows a view of a pavilion ("Juhamnu") being part of Changdeokgung Palace (15th century, Joseon Dynasty), located in Seoul, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997.
This postmark represents the famous Pietà (1498), a marble statue by Michelangelo located in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City.
