Dans le cadre des célébrations du 80ème anniversaire de la fondation du Musée national des beaux-arts de Moldavie, la poste moldave a mis en circulation, le 26 novembre 2019, une très jolie série (4 timbres) intitulée "Art universel, patrimoine du Musée national des beaux-arts", reproduisant 4 peintures exposées dans ce musée.
Conçue par Lilian Iațco, cette série (tirage : 100000 pour chaque timbres) figure sur le splendide pli Premier Jour officiel ci-dessous (tirage : 300), avec TAD de Chișinău (MD-2012). Merci beaucoup Nicolae !
Le patrimoine de ce musée, le "Louvre moldave", est composé d'une collection de plus de 39000 pièces, classées dans différentes catégories : art ancien, art médiéval tardif et populaire, art national moderne et contemporain, art russe, art universel d'Europe occidentale, numismatique et médailles, art oriental.
As part of the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the founding of the National Museum of Fine Arts of Moldova, the Post of Moldova put into circulation, on November 26, 2019, a very nice series (4 stamps) entitled "Universal Art, Heritage of the National Museum of Fine Arts", reproducing 4 paintings exhibited in this Museum.
Designed by Lilian Iațco, this series (print run: 100,000 for each stamp) is present on the splendid official First Day cover below (print run: 300), with postmark from Chișinău (MD-2012). Thank you very much Nicolae!
The heritage of this Museum, the "Moldovan Louvre" is made up of a collection of over 39,000 pieces, classified in different categories: ancient art, late and popular medieval art, modern and contemporary national art, Russian art, universal art from Western Europe, numismatics and medals, oriental art.
Les 4 œuvres d'art reproduites dans cette série font partie de la collection de peintures d'Europe occidentale (17ème et 18ème siècle) : "Venus et Mars" (1,20 L) par le peintre français Jean-Baptiste van Loo (1684-1745), "Sainte Famille" (1,75 L) par le peintre italien baroque Andrea Sacchi (1599-1661), "Bethsabée au bain" (5,20 L) par un peintre anonyme (17ème siècle) et "Angélique et Médor" (5,75 L) par le peintre français Michele Desubleo (1601 ou 1602-1676).
Une 5ème peinture, "Sainte Famille avec saint Jean Baptiste" (16ème siècle, peintre inconnu), est reproduite sur l'enveloppe à gauche.
The 4 works of art reproduced in this series are part of the collection of paintings from Western Europe (17th and 18th century): "Venus and Mars" (1.20 L) by the French painter Jean-Baptiste van Loo (1684-1745), "The Holy Family" (1.75 L) by the Italian Baroque painter Andrea Sacchi (1599-1661), "Bathsheba in the bath" (5.20 L) by an anonymous painter (17th century) and "Angelica and Medoro" (5.75 L) by the French painter Michele Desubleo (1601 or 1602-1676).
A 5th painting, "The Holy Family with Saint John the Baptist" (16th century, unknown painter), is reproduced on the envelope to the left.
La poste moldave a également mis en circulation les 4 cartes maximum ci-dessus et ci-dessous (tirage : 500 chacune, numérotées de 45/2019 à 48/2019) concernant chacun de ces 4 timbres, permettant d'apprécier les moindres détails de ces œuvres.
The Post of Moldova also put into circulation the 4 maxicards above and below (print run: 500 each, numbered from 45/2019 to 48/2019) for each of these 4 stamps, allowing to appreciate the smallest details of these paintings.
