EUROPA 2019 (National birds) stamp on cover from Andorra (Spanish Post)

Timbre EUROPA 2019 (Oiseaux nationaux) sur lettre d'Andorre (Poste espagnole)

Le 26 avril 2019, la poste espagnole ("Correus espanyols" en catalan) en Principauté d'Andorre a mis en circulation son timbre EUROPA, dont le thème cette année est consacré aux oiseaux nationaux.
C'est ce timbre (1,40€, tirage : 60000), de grand format (57.6 x 40.9 mm) qui figure sur le pli ci-dessous, avec cachet spécial mis en circulation pendant le 73ème Salon Philatélique d'Automne organisé du 7 au 9 novembre 2019 à Paris.
Ce cachet représente la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, avec sa flèche, ravagée par un terrible incendie le 15 avril 2019...
La Principauté d'Andorre n'a pas désigné officiellement d'oiseau national, ce timbre représentant une espèce de passereau courante en Europe, le rouge-gorge familier (Erithacus rubecula), "pit-roig" en catalan.
On April 26, 2019, the Spanish Post ("Correus espanyols" in Catalan) in the Principality of Andorra put into circulation its EUROPA stamp, whose theme this year is dedicated to the national birds.
It is that stamp (€ 1.40, print run: 60,000), with a large format (57.6 x 40.9 mm), which was used on the cover below, with special cachet put into circulation during the 73rd Salon Philatélique d'Automne organized from November 7 to 9, 2019 in Paris.
This cachet is featuring Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, with its spire, ravaged by a terrible fire on April 15, 2019 ... 
The Principality of Andorra has not officially designated a national bird, this stamp depicting a common species of passerine in Europe, the European robin (Erithacus rubecula), "pit-roig" in Catalan.

Ce timbre, splendide, conçu par l'artiste Ricardo Martinez, montre au premier plan, la tête d'un rouge-gorge et, en arrière-plan, un oiseau en vol avant de se poser sur un arbre.
Le rouge-gorge est un oiseau extrêmement territorial, qui défend son territoire avec son chant et avec la couleur de son plumage qu'il présente comme une menace aux intrus. Cet oiseau est très sociable avec les êtres humains, qu'il accompagne lors des travaux agricoles, au jardin ou pendant une promenade...
La culture anglo-saxonne le fête pendant la période de Noël où il figure sur les cartes classiques, une coutume liée à l'uniforme rouge que portaient les facteurs de l'époque victorienne qui apportaient les cartes de vœux à cette époque de l'année.
A noter que cet oiseau figure également sur un des 2 timbres EUROPA émis cette année par le Portugal.
