EUROPA 2019 (National birds) m/s on cover from Jersey

On March 5, 2019, the Jersey Post put in circulation a nice series of 6 stamps on the theme "Birds and symbolism", representing different species of birds living on this island, being part of the Channel Islands (British Dependency) located in the English Channel off the French coast.
Each of these 6 species (kestrel, swallow, swan, peacock, kingfisher, white stork) is indeed associated with traditional characteristics of which each bird is the symbol.
Among these 6 stamps (design: Mark Wilkinson), two of them were printed (in France by Cartor Security Printing) with the presence of the EUROPA logo, in sheets of 10 stamps (the case for the 6 stamps) but also in a miniature sheet.
It is this very nice miniature sheet, with mentions (including the profile of Queen Elizabeth II) printed with a special blue ink with metallic effect, which was used on the letter below sent on December 4, 2019.

To note this unusual postmark with the mention "Des Pres Jersey", referring to the name of the street where the Jersey Post is headquartered (parish of Saint Saviour), and where a post office reopened in 2015.
The stamp on the right (£ 0.76) represents a mute swan (Cygnus olor), the most common swan species in Europe, symbol of purity and love according to this stamp, but also of light, poetry , courage, elegance or nobility in certain cultures ...
The Common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) illustrates the other stamp above (£ 0.94), a symbol of peace and calm according to this stamp. This bird is strongly linked to the myth of Alcyone according to Greek mythology, metamorphosed into an alcyon, a fabulous bird associated with a kingfisher ...
Further, it was thought that kingfishers could calm the sea for the seven days before and seven days after the winter solstice so they could nest on the sea's surface, these days referring to peace or calm.
Finally, to note that about twenty countries or territories issuing EUROPA stamps this year, including Jersey, are participating in the "Europa Bird Stamps 2019" project consisting in scanning the stamps (via a free CEE-Application) to listen to the birds singing.
