Série commune "60 ans de relations diplomatiques avec Cuba" sur lettre du Vietnam
Le 2 décembre 1960, Cuba et le Vietnam établissaient officiellement des relations diplomatiques, les 2 pays communistes partageant depuis de fortes convergences économiques (le Vietnam est le 2ème partenaire commercial de Cuba en Asie, après la Chine) et politiques.
Le 2 décembre 2020, les administrations postales des 2 pays ont mis en circulation une jolie série commune (2 timbres) afin de célébrer le 60ème anniversaire de ces relations diplomatiques, consacrée en particulier à des sites inscrits sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.
La version vietnamienne de cette série, conçue par Minh Trang (poste vietnamienne) et Roberto Menéndez Roiz (poste cubaine), a été utilisée (en haut à droite) sur cette jolie lettre envoyée le 12 décembre 2020 depuis Hanoi. Merci beaucoup Long!
On December 2, 1960, Cuba and Vietnam officially established diplomatic relations, the two communist countries sharing strong economic (Vietnam is Cuba's second largest trading partner in Asia, after China) and political convergences.
On December 2, 2020, the postal administrations of the 2 countries put into circulation a nice joint series (2 stamps) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of these diplomatic relations, devoted in particular to sites inscribed on the World Heritage list by UNESCO.
The Vietnamese version of this stamp set, designed by Minh Trang (Vietnamese post) and Roberto Menéndez Roiz (Cuban post), was used (top right) on this nice cover sent on December 12, 2020 from Hanoi. Thank you very much Long!
Le fort de Santo Domingo de Atarés, un petit fort hexagonal construit à La Havane en 1767, fait partie du bien "Vieille ville de La Havane et son système de fortifications" inscrit à l'UNESCO en 1982.
Ce vaste réseau d'ouvrages défensifs, qui a été créé entre les 16ème et 19ème siècles, comprend quelques unes des plus anciennes et des plus grandes fortifications présentes sur le continent américain.
La cité impériale de Thang Long (inscrite à l'UNESCO en 2010), édifiée au 11ème siècle par la dynastie Viêt des Ly, a été construite sur les vestiges d'une citadelle chinoise remontant au 7ème siècle, dans le delta du fleuve Rouge à Hanoï. Elle fut le lieu du pouvoir politique régional de manière continue pendant près de treize siècles.
Les 2 timbres identiques en haut à gauche (4000 VND), émis le 1er novembre 2019, représente l'édifice du ministère des affaires étrangères à Hanoi.
Le dernier timbre en bas à droite semble être une réémission (millésime 2016 ou 2018) d'un timbre (4500 VND) d'une série courante émise en 2009, consacrée à différents types de lampes en bambou.
The logo of this 60th anniversary (a heart made up of the flags of the 2 countries) is present on these 2 stamps, dedicated to the fort of Santo Domingo de Atarés (Cuba, 4,000 VND) and to the imperial citadel of Thang Long-Hanoi (Vietnam, 10,000 VND).
The fort of Santo Domingo de Atarés, a small hexagonal fort built in Havana in 1767, is part of the property "Old Havana and its Fortification System" registered by UNESCO in 1982.
This extensive network of defensive installations that was created between the 16th and 19th centuries includes some of the oldest and largest stone fortifications now standing in the Americas.
The imperial citadel of Thang Long (listed by UNESCO in 2010), built in the 11th century by the Ly Viet Dynasty, was made on the remains of a Chinese fortress dating back to the 7th century, in the Red River Delta in Hanoi. It was the centre of regional political power for almost 13 centuries without interruption.
The 2 identical stamps on the top left (4,000 VND), issued on November 1, 2019, represent the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hanoi.
The last stamp at the bottom right appears to be a reissue (2016 or 2018 vintage) of a stamp (4,500 VND) from a definitive series issued in 2009, dedicated to different types of bamboo lamps.
