Timbre "JO de Sotchi" en Rép. Tchèque

"Sochi Olympics" stamp from Czech Rep.

After freestyle skiing for the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City (a gold medal for Ales Valenta in men's aerials), cross country skiing for the 2006 Olympics in Turin (a gold medal for Katerina Neumannova in the womens' 30km) and speed skating for the Vancouver Olympics in 2010 (2 gold medals for Martina Sablikova in the womens' 3000m and 5000m), the Czech Post has released on February 5, 2014, a new stamp dedicated to this new edition of the Olympic Winter games in Sochi.
It's this time a snowboarder who was chosen, let's hope that it will once again bring luck to Czech athletes competing in that sport in Sochi (3 women and 2 men engaged in freestyle, parallel and snowboard cross events)...

Bret was also kind enough to send me the First Day commemorative sheet above regarding that same stamp.
