100 ans d'aviation sur timbres malaisiens

100 Years of Aviation on Malaysian stamps

After Hong Kong and Singapore, the Post of Malaysia has also commemorated the 100th anniversary of the first powered flight in this region of Southeast Asia.
Three stamps have been issued, on July 7, 2011, devoted to these 100 years of aviation in Malaysia, from 1911 to today.
I was lucky to receive the beautiful official FDC below regarding this set, with postmarks from Ipoh, the capital of the State of Perak. Thank you very much Kkkhor :-)
The stamp to the left (60 sen) evokes this first flight that took place in 1911 when G.P. Fuller had landed his Antoinette monoplane at the race course in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

The stamp above in the middle (80 sen) is dedicated to the development of aviation in the country that officially began in 1956 when the Kuala Lumpur Airport at Sungei Besi became international with the first flight connections to Europe.

The last stamp to the right (1 RM) refers to the current period of aviation excellence in particular with the presence of the Airbus A380 on the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) opened at Sepang in 1998.
