Le 15 mars 2019, la poste ukrainienne a mis en circulation 2 timbres consacrés respectivement au 70ème anniversaire du Conseil de l'Europe et au 60ème anniversaire de la création de la Cour européenne des droits de l'homme.
Le timbre (8 UAH, tirage : 130005) consacré au 70ème anniversaire du Conseil de l'Europe, a été imprimé en feuillet de 9 timbres avec mention de cet anniversaire et le slogan associé "Nos droits, nos libertés, notre Europe" dans les marges supérieure (en ukrainien) et inférieure (en anglais).
Cette marge inférieure et 3 timbres ont été utilisés pour affranchir la jolie lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 21 mars 2019 depuis Lviv. Merci beaucoup Roman !
Ce timbre représente le Palais de l'Europe à Strasbourg, conçu par l'architecte français Henry Bernard et inauguré en 1977, le bâtiment principal du Conseil de l'Europe.
On March 15, 2019, the Ukrainian Post issued two stamps respectively devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the European Court of Human Rights.
The stamp (UAH 8.00, print run: 130,005) dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe, was printed in a sheetlet of 9 stamps with mention of this anniversary and the associated slogan "Our rights, our freedoms, our Europe" in the top (in Ukrainian) and bottom (in English) margins.
This bottom margin and 3 stamps were used on the nice cover below sent on March 21, 2019 from Lviv. Thank you very much Roman!

Il y a 70 ans donc, le 5 mai 1949, 10 pays (Belgique, Danemark, France, Irlande, Italie, Luxembourg, Norvège, Pays-Bas, Royaume-Uni et Suède) signaient le traité de Londres instituant le Conseil de l'Europe.
Il est composé aujourd'hui de représentants de 47 pays européens (820 millions de citoyens) et a pour objectif la défense de la démocratie, des droits de l'homme, de l'identité et de la diversité culturelle de l'Europe ou la lutte contre les discriminations.
L'Ukraine est devenue le 37ème état membre du Conseil de l'Europe le 9 novembre 1995, dont les actions dans le pays sont consacrées par exemple à la prévention de la torture, la lutte contre le racisme, la protection des droits sociaux et de minorités ou la lutte contre la corruption.
Roman a complété son affranchissement avec 4 timbres, émis le 31 décembre 2018, faisant partie de la série courante émise depuis 2017 par la poste ukrainienne, consacrée à des blasons de villes et villages du pays, Tchop ("T", 2 UAH), situé dans l'ouest du pays, près de la frontière hongroise et Chatsk ("X", 20 UAH), situé dans la nord-ouest du pays, non loin de la Pologne et du Belarus, ici.

70 years ago, on May 5, 1949, ten countries (Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Sweden) signed the Treaty of London establishing the Council of Europe.
It is now composed of representatives from 47 European countries (820 million citizens) and aims to defend democracy, human rights, cultural identity and diversity of Europe or fight against discrimination.
Ukraine became the 37th member state of the Council of Europe on November 9, 1995, whose actions in the country are devoted, for example, to the prevention of torture, the fight against racism, the protection of social rights and minorities or the fight against corruption.
