Le mois d'août a été faste pour la philatélie moldave à travers le monde grâce en particulier au site de référence "International Moldovan Philatelic Society - IMPS" (dont je suis un des membres fondateurs) qui participait pour la 1ère fois à 2 expositions philatéliques majeures sur le continent américain, "StampShow 2019" du 1er au 4 août 2019 à Omaha (USA) et "BRAPEX 2019" du 6 au 10 août 2019 à São Paulo (Brésil).
Ces dernières années, de nombreuses expositions autorisent en effet des participations numériques, des sites internet en particulier.
A l'occasion des participations de l'IMPS à ces expositions, des enveloppes commémoratives spéciales ont été préparées (seulement 6 exemplaires pour chaque exposition), envoyées le 1er jour depuis Chișinău.
The month of August has been a success for Moldovan philately around the world thanks in particular to the reference website "International Moldovan Philatelic Society - IMPS" (I am one of the founding members) which participated for the first time in two major philatelic exhibitions on the American continent, "StampShow 2019" from August 1 to 4, 2019 in Omaha, USA and "BRAPEX 2019" from August 6 to 10, 2019 in São Paulo, Brazil.
In recent years, many exhibitions indeed allow digital participations, especially websites.
On the occasion of IMPS participation in these exhibitions, special commemorative envelopes have been prepared (only 6 copies for each exhibition), sent on the first day from Chişinău.

IMPS a été récompensé par une médaille d'or lors de sa participation à "StampShow 2019" et par une médaille d'argent à "BRAPEX 2019", un résultat remarquable pour la Moldavie et sa philatélie !

L'enveloppe spéciale "BRAPEX 2019" ci-dessus est affranchie avec un timbre personnalisé (1,75 L - modèle "vert" du 17 novembre 2015) représentant le drapeau du Brésil, les armoiries de la Moldavie et la mention "Première exposition de la philatélie moldave en Amérique du Sud".
L'autre timbre (4,50 L - type "Sw") émis le 3 novembre 2010, fait partie d'une série de 2 timbres consacrée au 20ème anniversaire de l'adoption du drapeau national et des armoiries.

IMPS was honored with a gold medal when it took part in "StampShow 2019" and a silver medal at "BRAPEX 2019", a remarkable result for Moldova and its philately!

The special envelope "BRAPEX 2019" above is franked with a personalized stamp (1.75 L - "green" model of November 17, 2015) representing the flag of Brazil, the coat of arms of Moldova and the mention "First exhibition of Moldovan philately in South America ".
The other stamp (4.50 L - type "Sw") issued on November 3, 2010, is part of a series of two stamps devoted to the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the national flag and coat of arms.
IMPS a également participé à l'exposition philatélique "BELPHILA 2019" organisée du 4 au 8 septembre 2019 à Brest (Belarus).
Merci Niall pour l'envoi de cette 2ème enveloppe commémorative ci-dessus, envoyée le 4 septembre 2019 depuis Chișinău, évoquant la toute première participation de la philatélie moldave sur support numérique au Belarus !
Lors de cette exposition, IMPS a remporté une médaille d'or pour son site internet et une médaille "large vermeil" pour sa newsletter !
Un timbre personnalisé similaire a été utilisé sur cette lettre, avec le drapeau du Belarus, l'autre timbre (11 L) faisant partie de la série commune Moldavie-Belarus (2 timbres) émise le 8 septembre 2016, consacrée à une forte et séculaire tradition artisanale dans les 2 pays, la sculpture sur bois.

During this exhibition, IMPS won a gold medal for its website and a "large vermeil" medal for its newsletter!
A similar personalized stamp was used on this letter, featuring the flag of Belarus, the other stamp (11 L) being part of the Moldova-Belarus joitn set (2 stamps) issued on September 8, 2016, devoted to an important and ancient craft tradition in the two countries, wood carving.
