Timbre "Jeux Olympiques Tokyo 2020" sur lettre de Croatie

Pour sa 8ème participation à des jeux olympiques d'été depuis son indépendance en 1992, la Croatie a plutôt bien performé lors de cette 32ème olympiade à Tokyo 2020, organisés du 23 juillet au 8 août 2021 à cause de la pandémie mondiale de Covid-19, avec un total de 8 médailles (dont 3 en or) et une 26ème place au classement des médailles.
Bravo à Matea Jelić (taekwondo), Martin et Valent Sinković (aviron), Nikola Mektić et Mate Pavić (tennis, double hommes) pour ces 3 médailles d'or.
La délégation croate à ces jeux de Tokyo était composée de 60 athlètes (40 hommes, 20 femmes) engagés dans 16 sports différents.
A Tokyo, la Croatie a enregistré le 2ème meilleur résultat de son histoire, après Rio en 2016 avec 10 médailles dont 5 en or. 
For its 8th participation in the Summer Olympics since its independence in 1992, Croatia performed rather well during this 32nd Olympiad in Tokyo 2020, organized from July 23 to August 8, 2021 because of the global Covid-19 pandemic, with a total of 8 medals (including 3 gold) and a 26th place in the medal ranking.
Bravo to Matea Jelić (taekwondo), Martin and Valent Sinković (rowing), Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić (tennis, men's doubles) for these 3 gold medals.
The Croatian delegation at these Tokyo Games consisted of 60 athletes (40 men, 20 women) engaged in 16 different sports.
In Tokyo, Croatia recorded the second best result in its history, after Rio in 2016 with 10 medals including 5 gold.

 

Le 23 juillet 2021, la poste croate avait mis en circulation un timbre spécial (8,60 HRK, tirage : 100000), conçu par Dean Roksandić, graphiste et designer à Zagreb, consacré à ces jeux olympiques de Tokyo 2020.
Ce timbre a été utilisé pour affranchir la jolie lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 18 août 2021 depuis Rijeka. Merci beaucoup Dragan !
Ce timbre, incluant l'emblème du comité olympique croate ("Hrvatski olimpijski odbor"), représente une allégorie de la cérémonie de remise des médailles aux athlètes.
Ce timbre a été imprimé dans un feuillet composé de 9 timbres et d'une vignette reproduisant le logo de ces jeux de Tokyo 2020.
A noter que la poste croate a émis un timbre pour chaque édition des jeux olympiques d'été et d'hiver depuis les jeux de Barcelone en 1992.

On July 23, 2021, the Croatian Post had put into circulation a special stamp (8.60 HRK, print run: 100,000), designed by Dean Roksandić, graphic designer in Zagreb, dedicated to these Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

This stamp was used on the pretty cover above sent on August 18, 2021 from Rijeka. Thank you very much Dragan!

This stamp, including the emblem of the Croatian Olympic Committee ("Hrvatski olimpijski odbor"), depicts an allegory of the medal ceremony for the athletes.

This stamp was printed in a sheetlet consisting of 9 stamps and a label reproducing the logo of these Tokyo 2020 games.

To note that the Croatian Post has issued a stamp for each edition of the summer and winter Olympic games since the Barcelona games in 1992.
