"Trainspotting - Locomotives in Kyrgyzstan" stamp set on FDC from Kyrgyzstan (KEP)

Série "Trainspotting - Locomotives au Kirghizstan" sur FDC du Kirghizstan (KEP)

Le 30 avril 2024, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), le 2ème opérateur postal désigné (l'autre étant la poste kirghize) du Kirghizstan, a mis en circulation une jolie série (4 timbres avec millésime 2023) consacrée au trainspotting ou observation des trains (par des "ferrovipathes" en français), et en particulier à différents types de locomotives circulant sur le réseau ferroviaire du pays.
Le trainspotting est en effet un passe-temps qui consiste à observer et à photographier les trains. Cette jolie série a été conçue par Daria Maier à partir de photographies de locomotives prises par différents amateurs de trains dans le pays (Zalesskii Aleksandr, Valerij Lotz, Alexei Poliakov et Mikhail Utkin).

On April 30, 2024, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), the 2nd designated postal operator (the other being the Kyrgyz Post) of Kyrgyzstan, put into circulation a nice set (4 stamps with year 2023) dedicated to trainspotting and in particular to different types of locomotives running on the country's railway network.
Trainspotting is indeed a hobby that consists of observing and photographing trains. This nice set was designed by Daria Maier from photographs of locomotives taken by different train enthusiasts in the country (Zalesskii Aleksandr, Valerij Lotz, Alexei Poliakov and Mikhail Utkin).
A big thank you to the KEP staff for sending by registered mail this beautiful official FDC below (print run: 400) with cancellation from Bishkek, with this full stamp set!

Ces 4 timbres (tirage : 9000 chacun) représentent les types de locomotives suivants :
PEU1 (50 KGS), une locomotive électrique conçue pour être utilisée sur les chemins de fer industriels à voie étroite. À l'époque soviétique, ces locomotives électriques étaient produites à Dnepropetrovsk en Ukraine. Elles sont utilisées sur le chemin de fer à voie étroite de Sülüktü au Kirghizistan pour le transport de charbon et d'autres marchandises.
TEM2 (75 KGS), une locomotive diesel de manœuvre à six essieux avec transmission électrique. Cette locomotive a été produite en URSS à partir de 1960 et était l'une des locomotives diesel de manœuvre les plus courantes.
2TE10V (150 KG), une locomotive diesel de fret à deux sections, produite par l'usine de locomotives de Voroshilovgrad en URSS de 1974 à 1981. La puissance du moteur diesel est de 2 x 3 000 ch.
TE33A (300 KGS), une locomotive diesel de fret moderne produite au Kazakhstan sous licence de GE Transportation (USA). Sa vitesse de conception est de 120 km/h. Cinq locomotives diesel de ce type sont en service sur les chemins de fer du Kirghizstan.
These four stamps (print run: 9,000 each) feature the following types of locomotives:
PEU1 (50 KGS), an electric locomotive designed for use on narrow-gauge industrial railways. During Soviet times, these electric locomotives were produced in Dnepropetrovsk. They are used on the Sülüktü narrow-gauge railway in Kyrgyzstan for transporting coal and other goods.
TEM2 (75 KGS), a six-axle shunting diesel locomotive with electric transmission. This locomotive was produced in the USSR starting from 1960 and was one of the most common shunting diesel locomotives.
2TE10V (150 KGS), a two-section mainline freight diesel locomotive, produced by the Voroshilovgrad Locomotive Works in the USSR from 1974 to 1981. Diesel power is 2 x 3,000 hp.
TE33A (300 KGS), a modern freight diesel locomotive produced in Kazakhstan under the license of GE Transportation (USA). Design speed is 120 km/h. Five diesel locomotives of this type are in operation on the railways of Kyrgyzstan.

Les 4 timbres de cette série ont été imprimés (par Nova Imprim en Moldavie) chacun en feuillet (ci-dessus) composé de 4 timbres + 2 vignettes (tirage : 1500 feuillets pour chaque timbre).
Un bloc-feuillet (tirage : 3000) incluant les 4 timbres de cette série, a également été mis en circulation.
The four stamps of this series have been printed (by Nova Imprim in Moldova) each in a sheetlet (above) composed of 4 stamps + 2 labels (print run: 1,500 sheetlets for each stamp).
A souvenir sheet (print run: 3,000) including the four stamps of this series, was also put into circulation.

La KEP a également mis en circulation les 4 jolies cartes maximum ci-dessus (tirage : 400 chacune), numérotées de MC-113 à MC-116, concernant les 4 timbres de cette série, reproduisant des photographies de trains tractés par ces 4 locomotives (les mêmes photographies que celles figurant sur les vignettes des feuillets). 
The KEP has also put into circulation the four nice maxicards above (print run: 400 each), numbered from MC-113 to MC-116, about the four stamps of this series, reproducing photographs of trains pulled by these four locomotives (the same photographs as those appearing on the labels of the sheetlets).
