1er timbre lenticulaire en Slovaquie !

First Lenticular stamp in Slovakia !

Avant d'évoquer cette première pour la poste slovaque, je souhaitais vous montrer la lettre ci-dessous, copieusement sabotée par la poste française :-(
Cette lettre (merci beaucoup Robert !) postée de Bratislava le 6 mai 2010 a mis curieusement plus de 20 jours avant d'arriver à la Plate-forme de Préparation et de Distribution du Courrier (PPDC) de Lyon 03 (code 22209A) où ces 2 oblitérations manuelles ont été apposées...
Le timbre à 0,40€ à gauche, émis le 16 avril 2010, est consacré au journaliste et homme politique tchécoslovaque Milan Hodža (1878-1944), considéré comme une des personnalités majeures du fédéralisme régional en Europe centrale au début du 20ème siècle.

This cover (thank you Robert !) posted in Bratislava on May 6, 2010 has curiously reached the Mail Preparation and Distribution Platform of Lyon 03 (Code 22209A) more than 20 days after, where these two hand postmarks have been applied...
The € 0.40 stamp on the left, issued on April 16, 2010, is devoted to the Czechoslovakia's journalist and politician Milan Hodža (1878-1944), considered as a key figure of regional federalism in Central Europe in the early 20th century.

Plusieurs fois ministre puis premier ministre entre 1935 et 1936, Milan Hodža s'exilera ensuite en Suisse, en France (il y créera le Conseil National Slovaque) et aux États-Unis où il décédera en 1944. Sa dépouille a été transférée en Slovaquie en juin 2002 pour être inhumée dans le cimetière national de Martin.
Le 2ème timbre ci-dessus à droite (0,90€), émis le 4 mai 2010, est le timbre EUROPA (livres pour enfants) émis cette année par la poste slovaque.
La poste slovaque n'a du avoir que l'embarras du choix pour sélectionner un dessin, vu la réputation internationale des illustrateurs slovaques, souvent à l'honneur lors de la biennale d'illustrations de Bratislava (BIB).
C'est une illustration d'Albín Brunovský (1935 – 1997) qui a été choisie, extraite du livre "Modrá kniha rozprávok" ("Livre bleu de contes de fées") publié en 1974, évoquant le château de Bratislava.
Several times minister and then Prime Minister from 1935 to 1936, Milan Hodža went after to exile in Switzerland, France (he founded there the Slovak National Council) and the United States where he died in 1944. His remains were transferred to Slovakia in June 2002 to be buried in the National Cemetery in Martin.
The second stamp above on the right (€ 0.90), issued on May 4, 2010, is the EUROPA stamp (children's books) issued this year by the Slovak Post.
The Slovak Post had to be spoilt for choice to select a design for this stamp, considering the international reputation of the Slovak illustrators, often in the spotlight during the Biennale of Illustrations of Bratislava (BIB).
It's an illustration by Albín Brunovský (1935 - 1997) that was finally chosen from the book "Modrá kniha rozprávok" ("Blue Book of Fairy Tales") published in 1974, evoking the Bratislava Castle.

L'équipe slovaque de football s'est qualifiée pour la 1ère fois pour une phase finale de la coupe du monde de la FIFA organisée en ce moment en Afrique du sud.
La poste slovaque a dignement commémoré cet évènement important pour ce pays en émettant, le 8 juin 2010, un timbre spécial de forte valeur faciale (2,30€) utilisant pour la 1ère fois la technique lenticulaire.
Ce timbre figure sur la lettre ci-dessus, postée récemment (l'épaisseur de ce type de timbre empêche l'application correcte du timbre à date...) de Bratislava. Encore merci Robert :-)
Ce timbre évoque une action d'un joueur seul, dans un stade semblant vide (!), en train de shooter dans un ballon...

Côté sport, l'équipe slovaque est dernière de sa poule pour l'instant (1 point), derrière le Paraguay, l'Italie et la Nouvelle-Zélande...Espérons qu'elle fera mieux que l'équipe de France...
The Slovak football team has qualified for the first time for a FIFA World Cup, organized right now in South Africa.
The Slovak Post has worthily commemorated this milestone for the country by issuing, on June 8, 2010, a special stamp of high nominal value (€ 2.30) using for the first time a lenticular technique.
This stamp is included on the cover above, mailed recently (the thickness of this kind of stamp prevents the proper application of the postmark...) in Bratislava. Thank you again Robert :-)
This stamp evokes a football scene with a single player, in a stadium seeming to be empty (!), hiting a ball...

Sport speaking, the Slovak team is for now at the last rank in its qualifying group (1 point), behind Paraguay, Italy and New Zealand... Hoping they will do better than the French team...
