Merci beaucoup Borislav pour ces jolis plis Premier Jour du 25 avril 2018 (avec TAD de Sofia), concernant respectivement les 2 timbres et le bloc-feuillet (2 timbres) émis dans le cadre de la série EUROPA ayant pour thème cette année les ponts !
Comme les années précédentes, la poste bulgare a décliné cette série EUROPA en plusieurs versions : feuillet composé de 8 timbres + 2 vignettes centrales (4 timbres de chaque, tirage : 4500 feuillets), carnet de 8 timbres (4 de chaque incluant un côté non dentelé, timbres avec fond blanc), un entier postal (concernant le timbre à 0,95 leva mais avec faciale de 0,65 leva) et bloc-feuillet avec les 2 timbres (tirage : 10100).
A noter sur cette enveloppe la marque "Таxe perçue" en français et la valeur associée (0,65 leva). Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cette taxe a été appliquée puisque le tarif pour un envoi prioritaire jusqu'à 20g vers la France est actuellement égal à 2 leva (2,60 leva entre 21 et 50g)...
Thank you very much Borislav for these beautiful First Day covers dated April 25, 2018 (with cancellations from Sofia), respectively regarding the 2 stamps and the souvenir sheet (2 stamps) issued as part of the EUROPA series, devoted to the theme of bridges this year!
As in previous years, the Bulgarian Post has declined this EUROPA series in several versions: sheetlet consisting of 8 stamps + 2 central labels (4 stamps of each, print run: 4,500 sheetlets), booklet of 8 stamps (4 of each, unperforated on one side, stamps with white background), a postal stationary (concerning the 0.95 leva stamp but with a value of 0.65 leva) and souvenir sheet with the two stamps (print run: 10,100).
To note on this envelope the mark "Таxe perçue" in French and the associated value (0.65 leva). I do not understand why this tax was applied since the tariff for a priority shipment up to 20g to France is currently equal to 2.00 leva (2.60 leva between 21 and 50g) ...
Conçue par Maya Cholakova, cette série met à l'honneur le pont couvert de Lovetch (0,95 lev) et le pont Kadin à Nevestino (2,00 leva).
Le TAD Premier Jour fait référence au pont du Danube 2 inauguré en 2012 sur le Danube, entre Vidin en Bulgarie et Calafat en Roumanie (nord-ouest de la Bulgarie).
L'illustration à gauche sur cette enveloppe montre une partie du pont Belenski, construit entre 1865 et 1867 sur la rivière Yantra près de la ville de Byala (nord du pays).
Ce pont (14 arches, 276 mètres de long) est considéré comme un des plus beaux exemples d'architecture de la période du Renouveau national bulgare, œuvre du célèbre architecte de l'époque, Kolyu Ficheto (1800-1881).
A noter également sur cette enveloppe ci-dessus une signature en bas à droite, à côté de la date d'émission manuscrite. Je suppose qu'il s'agit de la signature de Maya Cholakova ?
Designed by Maya Cholakova, this series features the Lovech Covered Bridge (0.95 leva) and the Kadin Bridge in Nevestino (2.00 leva).
The First Day postmarks refers to the Danube Bridge 2 inaugurated in 2012 on the Danube river, between the towns of Vidin in Bulgaria and Calafat in Romania (northwestern Bulgaria).
The illustration to the left on this envelope shows a part of the Belenski Bridge, built between 1865 and 1867 on the Yantra River near the city of Byala (north of the country).
This bridge (14 arches, 276 meters long) is considered as one of the finest examples of architecture of the Bulgarian National Revival period, the work of the famous architect of the time, Kolyu Ficheto (1800-1881).
Also note on this envelope above a signature at the bottom right, next to the handwritten date of issue. I guess it's Maya Cholakova's signature?

Kolyu Ficheto a également conçu le pont couvert de Lovetch (centre nord du pays), un pont en bois abritant de nombreuses échoppes, construit sur la rivière Osam entre 1872 et 1874. Ce type de pont est unique dans cette région des Balkans et seulement 3 autres ponts similaires existent en Europe (Lucerne, Florence et Erfurt).
Ce pont (106 mètres de long) a été reconstruit en 1931 suite à un incendie en 1925 puis remplacé en 1981-1982 par le pont actuel, fidèle réplique du pont originel.
Le pont Kadin est un pont en pierre (3 arches) construit au 15ème siècle sur la rivière Struma à Nevestino (sud-ouest du pays). Ce pont aurait été construit vers 1470 sur l'ordre d'Ishak Pacha pendant le règne du sultan ottoman Mehmed II.
This same Belenski bridge is featured in the central margin of the souvenir sheet above, including these same two EUROPA stamps.
Kolyu Ficheto also designed the Lovech Covered Bridge (north center of the country), a wooden bridge housing numerous shops, built on the Osam River between 1872 and 1874. This type of bridge is unique in this region of the Balkans and only 3 other similar bridges exist in Europe (Lucerne, Florence and Erfurt).
This bridge (106 meters long) was rebuilt in 1931 following a fire in 1925 and replaced in 1981-1982 by the current bridge, faithful replica of the original bridge.
The Kadin Bridge is a stone bridge (3 arches) built in the 15th century on the Struma River in Nevestino (south-west of the country). This bridge was built around 1470 on the order of Ishak Pasha during the reign of Ottoman sultan Mehmed II.
