Le 14 mai 2018, la poste moldave a mis en circulation une 4ème enveloppe pré-timbrée (1,75 L) cette année, consacrée au 150ème anniversaire (jour pour jour) de la naissance de Vladimir Hertza (1868-1924), avocat, homme politique, maire de Chișinău en 1918-1919.

L'illustration à gauche sur l'enveloppe montre une vue de l'entrée principale de l'hôtel de ville de Chișinău (vers 1900, édifice remanié par la suite) ainsi que la maison (architecte : Aleksander Bernardazzi) habitée par Vladimir Hertza en 1906.
Monument national, cet édifice abrite aujourd'hui des collections du musée national des beaux-arts.
On May 14, 2018, the Post of Moldova has put into circulation a fourth prepaid envelope (L 1.75) this year, dedicated to the 150th anniversary (day to day) of the birth of Vladimir Hertza (1868-1924), lawyer, politician, mayor of Chişinău in 1918-1919.

The illustration to the left on the envelope shows a view of the main entrance to Chişinău City Hall (circa 1900, later reworked) and the house (architect: Aleksander Bernardazzi) inhabited by Vladimir Hertza in 1906.
National Monument, this building now houses collections of the National Museum of Fine Arts.
Vladimir Hertza a été vice-président du Parti national moldave et de la Société culturelle moldave en 1917 et a joué un rôle important dans la Grande Union ("Marea Unirea") en 1918 entre le Royaume de Roumanie, la Transylvanie, la Bucovine et la Bessarabie (dont faisait partie la République de Moldavie actuelle).
Cette Grande Roumanie ne sera effective que pendant 22 ans puisque le pacte de non agression germano-soviétique y mettra fin en 1940, avec l'occupation soviétique du territoire moldave actuel.
Vladimir Hertza a été maire de Chișinău pendant une courte durée (1918-1919) mais à une période charnière de l'histoire moldave, juste après cette Grande Union avec la Roumanie.
De nombreuses séries de timbres sont prévues cette année en Roumanie et Moldavie pour commémorer les 100 ans de cette Grande Union.
Vladimir Hertza was vice-president of the Moldovan National Party and the Moldovan Cultural Society in 1917 and played an important role in the Great Union ("Marea Unirea") in 1918 between the Kingdom of Romania, Transylvania, Bucovina and Bessarabia (which included the current Republic of Moldova).
This Greater Romania was only effective for 22 years since the German-Soviet non-aggression pact put an end to this union in 1940, with the Soviet occupation of the current Moldovan territory.
Vladimir Hertza was mayor of Chişinău for a short time (1918-1919) but at a pivotal period in Moldovan history, just after this Great Union with Romania.
Many sets of stamps are planned this year in Romania and Moldova to commemorate the 100th anniversary of this Great Union.
Nicolae a utilisé 3 autres timbres sur l'autre côté de cette enveloppe ci-dessus, dont celui à gauche (1,80 L) faisant partie de la 6ème série courante (émise le 13 août 1994) représentant les armoiries de la République de Moldavie.
Le timbre à droite (1,75 L), émis le 11 janvier 2018, est consacré à une campagne pour le don d'organes.
Le dernier timbre (4,20 L) fait partie d'une série (3 timbres), émise le 1er mars 2011, consacrée à l'artisanat populaire local, en particulier à un masque en paille (par Natalia Cangea) ici.
Nicolae used 3 other stamps on the other side of this envelope above, including the one on the left (L 1.80) being part of the sixth definitive series (issued on August 13, 1994) depicting the coat of arms of the Republic of Moldova.
The stamp on the right (L 1.75), issued on January 11, 2018, is dedicated to a campaign for organ donation.
The last stamp (L 4.20) is part of a series (3 stamps), issued on March 1, 2011, devoted to local folk crafts, especially to a straw mask (by Natalia Cangea) here.
