Afin de célébrer les médaillés olympiques tchèques en biathlon lors des derniers jeux olympiques d'hiver de PyeongChang (Corée du sud), le bureau principal de Prague 1 a mis circulation, le 27 avril 2018, une nouvelle flamme spéciale.

Slavek a utilisé le timbre (37 CZK) émis le 20 janvier 2018, consacré à l'équipe olympique tchèque lors de ces jeux de PyeongChang, à une épreuve de biathlon en particulier.
In order to celebrate the Czech Olympic medalists in biathlon at the last Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, Korea, the main post office of Prague 1 put into circulation, on April 27, 2018, a new special pictorial cancellation.

Cette flamme rend hommage à Michal Krčmář, médaille d'argent dans l'épreuve du sprint homme, et à Veronika Vítková, médaille de bronze dans l'épreuve du sprint femme.
A PyeongChang (7 médailles, en biathlon, ski alpin, snowboard et patinage de vitesse), l'équipe tchèque a connu un des meilleurs résultats de son histoire (après Sotchi en 2014 avec 8 médailles).
Depuis sa 1ère participation aux jeux olympiques d'hiver en 1994 (Lillehammer), la République tchèque a remporté 6 médailles en biathlon (4 argent, 2 bronze).
