Renommée "Česká tisková kancelář" en 1993 après l'indépendance de la République tchèque, cette agence publique et indépendante ČTK a pour devise "Fiabilité - Rapidité - Indépendance".
Au 1er janvier 2016, l'agence ČTK comptait 263 employés et possédait 14 succursales en République tchèque et des correspondants à l'étranger dans trois pays.

As of January 1, 2016, ČTK had 263 employees and owned 14 branches in Czech Republic and correspondents abroad in three countries.
Le 10 octobre 2018, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un entier postal (tarif domestique "A" pour un envoi jusqu'à 50g - 19 CZK actuellement) consacré au 100ème anniversaire de la création de cette agence de presse ČTK.
Merci beaucoup Bret pour l'envoi de cet entier postal (prix de vente : 24 CZK, tirage : 3300, conception : Jan Ungrád) le 1er jour d'émission depuis le bureau de poste principal de Prague 1 !
Bret a complété son affranchissement avec un des 2 timbres (16 CZK) de la série "Patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO" émise le 7 septembre 2016, le paysage culturel de Lednice-Valtice ici.
On October 10, 2018, the Czech Post put into circulation a postal stationery (domestic "A" rate for a shipment up to 50g - 19 CZK currently) dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the creation of this ČTK news agency.
Thank you very much Bret for sending this postal stationary (selling price: 24 CZK, print run: 3,300, design: Jan Ungrád) on the first day of issue from the Prague 1 main post office!
Bret completed his postage with one of the two stamps (16 CZK) of the "UNESCO World Heritage" series, issued on September 7, 2016, the Lednice-Valtice cultural landscape here.
Bret a eu la gentillesse de m'envoyer également le feuillet commémoratif numéroté ci-dessus, mis en circulation le 24 septembre 2018 pour rendre hommage à Václav Zapadlík, disparu le 21 août 2018.
Václav Zapadlík (1943-2018) était un peintre et illustrateur tchèque spécialisé et reconnu dans le monde pour ses dessins et peintures de voitures historiques, en particulier datant des années 1950.
Václav Zapadlík avait en particulier conçu une vingtaine de timbres entre 2012 et 2016 pour la poste tchèque, dont les 2 timbres se-tenant ci-dessus (10 CZK), émis le 12 juin 2013, représentant une draisine Tatra 15/30 et une motocyclette Čechie 33 Böhmerland.
Ce feuillet n'a été émis qu'à 1600 exemplaires (numérotés de 0178000 à 0179600, prix de vente : 30 CZK).

Václav Zapadlík (1943-2018) was a Czech painter and illustrator specializing in the world of historic car drawings and paintings, particularly cars produced in the 1950s.
Václav Zapadlík designed in particular some twenty stamps between 2012 and 2016 for the Czech Post, including the two se-tenant stamps above (10 CZK), issued on June 12, 2013, representing a draisine Tatra 15/30 and a motorcycle Čechie 33 Böhmerland.
This special sheet was issued in only 1,600 copies (numbered from 0178000 to 0179600, selling price: 30 CZK).
