Le 18 février 2019, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un TAD spécial consacré au 70ème anniversaire de la naissance de Jaromír Knotek, artiste, peintre, illustrateur et concepteur de timbres, souvent en collaboration avec son épouse Libuše Knotek (fille du graveur Ladislav Jirka).
Conçu par Jan Kavan, ce TAD, mis en circulation par le bureau principal de Prague 1, a été appliqué sur la jolie lettre ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Slavek !
Slavek a utilisé le timbre courant (16 CZK) émis le 27 avril 2016, représentant deux papillons, un machaon ou Grand porte-queue (Papilio machaon) et un flambé (Iphiclides podalirius), conçu par Libuše et Jaromír Knotek.
A noter cette vignette de complément (23 CZK) afin d'atteindre le tarif en vigueur (39 CZK) pour un envoi prioritaire jusqu'à 50g vers les pays européens.
On February 18, 2019, the Czech Post put into circulation a special postmark dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Jaromír Knotek, artist, painter, illustrator and stamp designer, often in collaboration with his wife Libuše Knotek (daughter of the engraver Ladislav Jirka).
Designed by Jan Kavan, this cancellation, put into circulation by the Prague 1 main post office, was applied on the pretty letter below. Thank you very much Slavek!
Slavek used the definitive stamp (16 CZK) issued on April 27, 2016, depicting two butterflies, a common yellow swallowtail (Papilio machaon) and a scarce swallowtail (Iphiclides podalirius), designed by Libuše and Jaromír Knotek.

J'ai déjà évoqué à de nombreuses reprises sur ce blog les timbres tchèques conçus par Libuše et Jaromír Knotek depuis 2007, la plupart étant consacrés à la faune (animaux de zoos, réserves naturelles, protection de la nature, oiseaux, poissons d'aquarium...), la flore (champignons) ou encore les joyaux de la couronne de Bohême. Certains de ces timbres ont obtenu des prix prestigieux lors d'expositions philatéliques internationales.
Jaromír Knotek, diplômé de l'Académie des beaux-arts de Prague (1974), est en particulier connu pour ses photographies et ses dessins scientifiques même s'il produit également des œuvres originales inspirées de son imagination. Dans les années 1990, il continue de combiner le dessin d'animaux réels dans diverses relations avec des scènes du monde humain, complétées par divers éléments expressifs, parfois abstraits.
Avec Libuše, Jaromír Knotek a publié de nombreux livres avec des illustrations scientifiques souvent consacrées à la faune des 5 continents.
Ce TAD résume l'œuvre de Jaromír Knotek avec cette palette de peintre, ce scaphandre (sans doute pour évoquer ses dessins scientifiques) et ce papillon.
I have already mentioned many times on this blog the Czech stamps designed by Libuše and Jaromír Knotek since 2007, most of them devoted to wildlife (zoo animals, nature reserves, nature protection, birds, aquarium fish ...), flora (mushrooms) or the jewels of the Bohemian crown.
Some of these stamps have won prestigious awards at international philatelic exhibitions.
Jaromír Knotek, a graduate of the Prague Academy of Fine Arts (1974), is particularly known for his photographs and scientific drawings, although he also produces original works inspired by his imagination. In the 1990s, he continued to combine the drawing of real animals in various relationships with scenes of the human world, supplemented by various expressive elements, sometimes abstract.
With Libuše, Jaromír Knotek has published a lot of books with scientific illustrations often devoted to the fauna of the five continents.
