Le 30 avril 2019, un timbre commun (non prévu initialement dans les programmes philatéliques des 2 pays) a été mis en circulation par la Pologne et la Grèce afin de commémorer le 100ème anniversaire de l'établissement de relations diplomatiques entre les 2 pays.
Ces relations ont été officialisées en 1919 quelques mois après que la Pologne ait retrouvé son indépendance (Deuxième République), les 2 pays échangeant des ambassadeurs à partir de 1922.
Après la guerre civile grecque et la défaite des communistes en 1949, plus de 14000 grecs ont émigré vers la Pologne, à Wrocław en particulier.
Depuis que la Pologne est devenue membre de l'UE en 2004, plus de 20000 polonais ont émigré vers la Grèce à le recherche d'un emploi. Nombreux sont rentrés en Pologne après la crise grecque de 2009.
On April 30, 2019, a joint stamp (not initially included in the philatelic programs of the two countries) was put into circulation by Poland and Greece to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
These relations were formalized in 1919 a few months after Poland regained its independence (Second Republic), the two countries exchanging ambassadors from 1922.
After the Greek civil war and the defeat of the Communists in 1949, more than 14,000 Greeks emigrated to Poland, in Wrocław in particular.
Since Poland became a member of the EU in 2004, more than 20,000 Poles have emigrated to Greece for employment. Many of them returned to Poland after the Greek crisis of 2009.
Les 2 pays entretiennent de bonnes relations au sein de l'UE, de l'OCDE ou de l'OTAN, dans les domaines de la défense, de l'agriculture, de l'économie ou des sciences.
La version polonaise de ce timbre commun (3,30 PLN, tirage : 216000) figure sur le joli FDC officiel ci-dessus, avec TAD de Varsovie, envoyé le 11 mai 2019 depuis la ville de Łosice (centre-est du pays). Merci beaucoup Grzegorz !
Conçu par Eleni Apostolou et imprimé en feuillet de 12 timbres, ce timbre représente certains monuments et édifices emblématiques des 2 pays, sur fond de nombre 100 arborant les couleurs des drapeaux de Pologne et de Grèce.
Parmi ces monuments, le Parthénon situé sur l'Acropole d'Athènes, le Palais royal de Varsovie ou la statue de la sirène de Varsovie ("Syrenka Warszawska"), un des symboles de la capitale polonaise, érigée en 1939 au bord de la Vistule.

The Polish version of this joint stamp (PLN 3.30, print run: 216,000) is present on the very nice official FDC above, with postmark from Warsaw, sent on May 11, 2019 from the city of Łosice (center-east of the country). Thank you very much Grzegorz!
Designed by Eleni Apostolou and printed in sheet of 12 stamps, this stamp represents some emblematic landmarks of the two countries, with in the background a number "100" bearing the colors of the flags of Poland and Greece.
Among these monuments, the Parthenon located on the Acropolis of Athens, the Royal Palace of Warsaw or the statue of the Warsaw Mermaid ("Syrenka Warszawska"), one of the symbols of the Polish capital, erected in 1939 on the edge of the Vistula river.
Grzegorz a également utilisé 4 autres timbres au verso de cette enveloppe ci-dessus, en particulier 3 timbres identiques (0,50 PLN), émis le 20 janvier 2016 (avec millésime 2015) faisant partie de la jolie série courante "fleurs et fruits", des fleurs de bleuet ici.
L'autre timbre (0,20 PLN), émis le 3 octobre 2018, évoque la Via Carpatia, cette route en construction devant relier Klaipėda en Lituanie à Thessalonique en Grèce, en passant par la Pologne, la Slovaquie, la Hongrie, la Roumanie et la Bulgarie.
Grzegorz has also used 4 other stamps on the back of this envelope above, in particular 3 identical stamps (PLN 0.50), issued on January 20, 2016 (with 2015 vintage) being part of the nice definitive "flowers and fruits" series, blueberry flowers here.
The other stamp (PLN 0.20), issued on October 3, 2018, is devoted to the Via Carpatia, this planned transnational road built to connect Klaipėda in Lithuania to Thessaloniki in Greece, via Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.

Il semble que la poste polonaise (Poczta Polska S.A.) édite régulièrement ce type de document, pas uniquement pour les émissions communes...
