Après un 1er timbre commun émis le 11 février 2019 (90ème anniversaire de la signature des Accords du Latran), les administrations postales d'Italie et de la Cité du Vatican ont mis en circulation, le 19 mars 2019, un 2ème timbre commun évoquant cette fois le 150ème anniversaire de l'hôpital pédiatrique "Bambino Gesù" à Rome.
La version italienne de ce timbre autocollant (tarif domestique "B" - 1,10€ pour un envoi jusqu'à 20g) figure sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 6 mai 2019 depuis Bologne. Merci beaucoup Salvatore !
A noter ce timbre de complément (100 lires = 0,05€), "Villa Campolieto à Ercolano" (émis le 17 octobre 1981), non oblitéré, afin d'atteindre le tarif en vigueur pour un envoi jusqu'à 20g vers les pays européens et du bassin méditerranéen.
After a first joint stamp issued on February 11, 2019 (90th anniversary of the signing of the Lateran Pacts), the postal administrations of Italy and Vatican City put into circulation, on March 19, 2019, a second joint stamp evoking this time the 150th anniversary of the "Bambino Gesù" paediatric hospital in Rome.
The Italian version of this self-adhesive stamp (domestic rate "B" - € 1.10 for a shipment up to 20g) was used on the letter below sent on May 6, 2019 from Bologna. Thank you very much Salvatore!
To note this additional stamp (100 lire = € 0.05), "Villa Campolieto in Ercolano" (issued on October 17, 1981), not cancelled, in order to reach the tariff in force for a sending up to 20g towards the European countries and the Mediterranean basin.
Ce timbre (conception : A. Romano) reproduit le logo du 150ème anniversaire de la fondation de cet hôpital pour enfants "Bambino Gesù", délimité par un cadre représentant une allégorie de l'arc-en-ciel et avec la mention "Le futur est une histoire d'enfant".
Cet hôpital a été fondé à Rome en 1869 en tant que premier hôpital pédiatrique italien, à l'initiative de de la duchesse Arabella Salviati. Cette structure, appelée "Bambino Gesù", avait initialement 12 lits puis l'hôpital est devenu un point de référence pour les petits malades de la capitale italienne, jusqu’à enregistrer un millier de patients en 1907.
En 1924, la famille Salviati décida de faire don de l'hôpital au Saint-Siège et tous les papes ont ensuite encouragé les activités de protection de la santé des enfants hospitalisés, en rendant visite eux-même aux malades.
Depuis 1985, cet établissement (qui est également un institut scientifique de recherche) est devenu un hôpital d'excellence au niveau mondial.

This hospital was founded in Rome in 1869 as the first Italian paediatric hospital, on the initiative of Duchess Arabella Salviati. This structure, called "Bambino Gesù", had initially 12 beds then the hospital became a point of reference for the children of the Italian capital, until registering a thousand patients in 1907.
In 1924, the Salviati family decided to donate the hospital to the Holy See and all the popes then encouraged the health protection activities of the hospitalized children, often visiting the patients themselves.
Since 1985, this establishment (which is also a scientific research institute) has become a worldwide center for excellence.
