Merci Josep pour cette intéressante lettre d'Andorre envoyée récemment (date illisible) depuis Andorra la Vella, la capitale de la Principauté !
Josep a utilisé 2 timbres émis par la poste espagnole en Andorre le 9 octobre 2020 et le 23 avril 2021, faisant respectivement partie de séries intitulées "Art contemporain" et "Personnages".
Le timbre à gauche (1,45€, tirage : 60000) est consacré à l'art contemporain et à la photographie en particulier, rendant hommage à l'artiste Pep Aguareles (1965-2019).
Son travail minutieux et extrêmement perfectionniste cherchait à s'arrêter au moindre détail dans le contrôle de l'exposition et de la composition du cliché, en jouant avec la lumière, les reflets et les ombres, pour révéler une photographie parfois abstraite, avant-gardiste, qui lui permettait d'exprimer tout sa sensibilité dans des images à la profonde charge poétique.
Tout au long de sa vie, Pep Aguareles a dirigé différents projets artistiques, la grande majorité liés à la photographie mais aussi à l'art vidéo, comme le Paradise Consumer Group, qui cherchait à promouvoir les relations culturelles entre les petits états européens.

Josep used two stamps issued by the Spanish Post in Andorra on October 9, 2020 and April 23, 2021, respectively part of series titled "Contemporary Art" and "Personalities".
The stamp on the left (€1.45, mintage: 60,000) is dedicated to contemporary art and photography in particular, paying tribute to the artist Pep Aguareles (1965-2019).
His meticulous and extremely perfectionist work sought to focus on the smallest detail in controlling the exposure and composition of the shot, playing with light, reflections and shadows, to reveal a sometimes abstract, avant-garde photograph, which allowed him to express all his sensitivity in images with a deep poetic charge.
Throughout his life, Pep Aguareles led different artistic projects, the vast majority related to photography but also video art, such as the Paradise Consumer Group, which sought to promote cultural relations between small European states.

L'autre timbre (0,70€, tirage : 55000) est consacré à l'ancien diplomate et écrivain Antoni Morell Mora (1941-2020), considéré comme le père de la littérature andorrane moderne.
L'eau, le vent, la pierre et le temps sont les quatre traits avec lesquels Antoni Morell a dessiné l'identité du peuple andorran, auquel il a ajouté avant tout la personne humaine, en tant qu'intégrateur de tous ces éléments qui forgent son identité.
Intellectuel profondément humaniste, il a, tout au long de sa vie, mené une profonde réflexion sur la société, l'histoire et le peuple andorran. 
Ses 3 romans "Set lletaníes de mort", "Borís I, rei d'Andorra" et "La neu adversa" constituent un retable sur la société andorrane traditionnelle, basée sur la maison, le paysage et le climat rigoureux de haute montagne, et l'économie de subsistance. 
Il fut aussi l'un des pères du processus "d'Andorranisation" de la Principauté et a promu la création des Archives Nationales, de la Bibliothèque Nationale et de l'Institut d'Études Andorranes. En 1981, il a été nommé Secrétaire Général du premier Gouvernement d'Andorre et, entre 2005 et 2010, il a été ambassadeur de la Principauté d'Andorre au Vatican.
The other stamp (€0.70, print run: 55,000) is dedicated to the former diplomat and writer Antoni Morell Mora (1941-2020), considered the father of modern Andorran literature.
Water, wind, stone and time are the four traits with which Antoni Morell drew the identity of the Andorran people, to which he added above all the human person, as an integrator of all those elements that forge its identity.
A deeply humanist intellectual, he has, throughout his life, carried out a deep reflection on society, history and the Andorran people.
His 3 novels "Set lletaníes de mort", "Borís I, rei d'Andorra" and "La neu adversa" constitute an altarpiece on traditional Andorran society, based on the house, the landscape and the harsh high mountain climate, and the subsistence economy.
He was also one of the fathers of the process of "Andorranization" of the Principality and promoted the creation of the National Archives, the National Library and the Institute of Andorran Studies. In 1981 he was appointed Secretary General of the first Government of Andorra and between 2005 and 2010 he was Ambassador of the Principality of Andorra to the Vatican.
