Leonida Lari (1949-2011) était une poétesse, journaliste et femme politique moldave qui a milité pour la réunification de la Bessarabie avec la Roumanie. Elle a publié 24 volumes de poésie et de prose et a été une traductrice prolifique d'œuvres clés de la littérature mondiale en roumain.
A l'occasion du 75ème anniversaire de sa naissance, la poste moldave a mis en circulation, le 26 octobre 2024, un TAD spécial (conception : Eugeniu Verebceanu) appliqué par le bureau principal de Chișinău (MD-2012) sur l'enveloppe pré-timbrée ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Nicolae !
Cette enveloppe (1,75 L, tirage : 10000, conception : Vitaliu Pogolșa) avait été mise en circulation le 26 octobre 2014 pour commémorer le 65ème anniversaire de la naissance de Leonida Lari.
Leonida Lari a été l'une des leaders du mouvement d'émancipation nationale en Bessarabie entre 1988 et 1991. Elle a été élue représentante au Soviet suprême de l'Union soviétique (1988-1990) et a été membre du Bureau permanent du Front populaire de Moldavie (1990-1992).
Leonida Lari (1949-2011) was a Moldovan poet, journalist and politician who campaigned for the reunification of Bessarabia with Romania. She published 24 volumes of poetry and prose and was a prolific translator of key works of world literature into Romanian.
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of her birth, the Post of Moldova has put into circulation, on October 26, 2024, a special postmark (design: Eugeniu Verebceanu) applied by the main office in Chișinău (MD-2012) on the prepaid envelope below. Thank you very much Nicolae!
This envelope (1.75 L, print run: 10,000, design: Vitaliu Pogolșa) was put into circulation on October 26, 2014 to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the birth of Leonida Lari.
Leonida Lari was one of the leaders of the national emancipation movement in Bessarabia between 1988 and 1991. She was elected representative to the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union (1988-1990) and was a member of the Permanent Bureau of the People's Front of Moldova (1990-1992). 

Entre 1990 et 1992, Leonida Lari a été présidente de la Ligue chrétienne-démocrate des femmes (l'une des composantes du Parti social-libéral à partir de 2001). En 1992, après des menaces répétées sur le bien-être de ses enfants, Leonida Lari et sa famille ont fui à Bucarest, en Roumanie. Entre 1992 et 2008, Leonida Lari a été députée au Parlement roumain.
Après une longue bataille contre le cancer, Leonida Lari est décédée à Chișinău le 11 décembre 2011. Son décès a été suivi d'obsèques nationales, au cours desquelles des milliers de moldaves lui ont rendu hommage. 
Nicolae a aussi utilisé un timbre (7 L) faisant partie d'une série (4 timbres + 1 bloc-feuillet) émise le 15 janvier 2010, consacrée à des personnalités roumaines et moldaves, Maria Cebotari ici.
Maria Cebotari (1910-1949) était une célèbre soprano roumaine, née à Chișinău (Bessarabie à l'époque), qui a chanté dans les plus grands opéras - Vienne, Salzbourg, Berlin - en particulier des œuvres de Strauss, avant de mourir (d'un cancer) en pleine gloire à 39 ans.
Between 1990 and 1992, Leonida Lari was the president of the Christian Democratic Women's League (one of the components of the Social Liberal Party from 2001). In 1992, after repeated threats to the well-being of her children, Leonida Lari and her family fled to Bucharest, Romania. Between 1992 and 2008, Leonida Lari was a member of the Romanian Parliament.
After a long battle with cancer, Leonida Lari died in Chișinău on December 11, 2011. Her death was followed by a state funeral, during which thousands of Moldovans paid their respects.

Maria Cebotari (1910-1949) was a famous Romanian soprano, born in Chișinău (Bessarabia at the time), who sang in the greatest opera houses - Vienna, Salzburg, Berlin - in particular Strauss' works, before dying (of cancer) in full glory at the age of 39.
