Le 29 septembre 2018, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation une nouvelle intéressante flamme postale consacrée aux médaillés tchèques (2 argent, 1 bronze) lors des 24èmes championnats d'Europe d'athlétisme ("Mistrovství Evropy v atletice"), organisés à Berlin du 6 au 12 août 2018.
C'est cette flamme qui a été appliquée sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée depuis le bureau de poste principal de Prague 1. Merci beaucoup Slavek !
Cette flamme, incluant une illustration d'une pointe d'athlétisme, comporte les noms des 3 femmes ayant remporté des médailles lors de cette compétition : Anežka Drahotová (argent, 20 km marche), Nikola Ogrodníková (argent, lancer du javelot) et Eva Vrabcová-Nývltová (bronze, marathon).
La République tchèque a terminé ces championnats à la 20ème place au classement des nations.
On September 29, 2018, the Czech Post put into circulation an interesting new pictorial cancellation dedicated to the Czech medalists (2 silver, 1 bronze) at the 24th European Athletics Championships ("Mistrovství Evropy v atletice"), held in Berlin from August 6 to 12, 2018.
It is this pictorial cancellation that was applied on the letter below sent from the main post office of Prague 1. Thank you very much Slavek!
This cancellation, with an illustration of a spike used in athletics, includes the names of the 3 women who won medals at this competition: Anežka Drahotová (silver, 20 km walk), Nikola Ogrodníková (silver, javelin throw) and Eva Vrabcová-Nývltová (bronze, marathon).
Czech Republic finished these championships in 20th place in the nations standings.

Slavek used on this letter the stamp (32 CZK, design: Milan Jaroš) issued on June 22, 2016 for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
That stamp, including the emblem of the Czech Olympic Committee as well as the words "Czech Olympic Team - Rio 2016", shows the silhouette of a female athlete (wearing the yellow and green colors of the Brazilian flag) jumping over a hurdle.
To note this additional label (3 CZK) to reach the current tariff (35 CZK) for a priority shipment up to 50g to European countries.
