Le 9 juillet 2018 a été à nouveau retenu comme date d'émission d'un timbre commun entre plusieurs pays méditerranéens, intitulé "Euromed Postal" avec pour thème cette année "les maisons de la Méditerranée".
Après un motif commun en 2014, les "bateaux de la Méditerranée" en 2015, les "poissons de la Méditerranée" en 2016 et les "arbres de la Méditerranée" en 2017, les administrations postales participantes ont émis cette année des timbres différents consacrés à des types d'habitat caractéristiques du pourtour de la mer Méditerranée.
Pour rappel, ce 9 juillet rappelle la première convention internationale de la poste méditerranéenne signée à Marseille le 9 juillet 2007. Depuis cette date, l'Union Postale pour la Méditerranée (PUMed), une union restreinte de l'UPU, a été créée le 11 mars 2011 et comprend actuellement les opérateurs postaux de 18 pays du bassin méditerranéen (Croatie, Chypre, Égypte, Espagne, France, Grèce, Italie, Jordanie, Liban, Libye, Malte, Maroc, Monaco, Palestine, Slovénie, Syrie, Tunisie, Turquie) ainsi que le Portugal et la Mauritanie.
July 9, 2018 was chosen again as the date of issue of a joint stamp between several Mediterranean countries, entitled "Euromed Postal" devoted to the theme of the "Houses in the Mediterranean" this year.
After a common design in 2014, the "boats of the Mediterranean" in 2015, the "fish of the Mediterranean" in 2016 and the "trees in the Mediterranean" in 2017, the participating postal administrations issued this year different stamps dedicated to characteristic habitat types around the Mediterranean Sea.
As a reminder, July 9th evokes the first International Convention of the Mediterranean Post signed in Marseille, France on July 9, 2007. Since that date, the Postal Union for the Mediterranean (PUMed), a restricted union of the UPU, was created on March 11, 2011 and currently includes 18 postal operators of Mediterranean countries (Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Monaco, Morocco, Palestine, Slovenia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey) as well as Portugal and Mauritania.
La poste marocaine Barid Al-Maghrib participe depuis 2014 à ces émissions de timbres Euromed Postal et a mis en circulation, le 9 juillet 2018, une nouvelle série de 4 timbres incluant le logo Euromed Postal (un faucon stylisé).
J'ai eu la chance de recevoir le joli FDC officiel ci-dessus concernant ces 4 timbres (3,75 dirhams chacun), envoyé le 12 septembre 2018 depuis Rabat, la capitale. Merci beaucoup Pierre !
Pour illustrer ce thème des maisons de la Méditerranée, la poste marocaine a choisi de reproduire différentes œuvres du peintre Mohamed Sarghini (1923-1991), premier marocain à être nommé directeur de l'école des beaux-arts de Tétouan, qui a marqué le monde des arts dans le pays au 20ème siècle.
Ces peintures représentent différentes vues de l'intérieur de maisons traditionnelles de style maroco-andalouses (patio, salon, jardin).
D'après la poste marocaine, ces timbres montrent des "espaces enchantés générant une atmosphère qui puise ses sources d'une méditerranée maroco-andalouse, une atmosphère de formes architecturales, de mosaïques et de formes géométriques aux couleurs ardentes et apaisées et aux luminosités changeantes entre vives et tamisées".
Since 2014, the Moroccan Post Barid Al-Maghrib has been participating in these Euromed Postal stamp issues and, on July 9, 2018, has put into circulation a new series of 4 stamps including the Euromed Postal logo (a stylized hawk).
I was lucky enough to receive the beautiful official FDC above regarding these 4 stamps (3.75 Dirhams each), sent on September 12, 2018 from Rabat, the capital. Thank you very much Pierre!
To illustrate this theme of houses in the Mediterranean, the Moroccan Post has chosen to reproduce various works by the painter Mohamed Sarghini (1923-1991), the first Moroccan to be appointed director of the school of fine arts of Tetouan, who marked the arts world in his country in the 20th century.
These paintings represent different views of the interior of traditional Moroccan-Andalusian style houses (patio, living room, garden).
According to the Moroccan Post, these stamps show "enchanted spaces generating an atmosphere that draws its sources from a Moroccan-Andalusian Mediterranean, an atmosphere of architectural forms, mosaics and geometric shapes with ardent and peaceful colors and changing luminosities, lively or subdued".
