TAD "Crèche de Noël à Lahti 2024" sur lettre de Finlande
La tradition des crèches de Noël, mettant en scène la naissance de l'enfant Jésus, est particulièrement vivante dans le sud de l'Europe, mais les crèches sont également très présentes dans la ville finlandaise de Lahti.
Depuis 2001, des crèches de Noël sont en effet exposées chaque année à partir de début décembre (jusqu'à l'épiphanie début janvier), dans différents commerces et établissements du centre-ville de Lahti, située dans le sud du pays, à environ 100 km au nord-est d'Helsinki.
Pour accompagner cette tradition, la poste finlandaise met en circulation chaque année (depuis 2005) un TAD spécial avec mention "Seimikaupunki Lahti" ("Crèche de Noël Lahti") pour les vœux de Noël.
Ce TAD, conçu par Jukka Talari, change chaque année mais reste basé sur la même représentation de la Sainte Famille.
The tradition of Christmas nativity scenes (cribs) featuring the birth of the baby Jesus is particularly vibrant in southern Europe, but nativity scenes are also very popular in the Finnish city of Lahti.
Since 2001, Christmas nativity scenes have been displayed every year from early December (until Epiphany in early January) in various shops and establishments in downtown Lahti, located in the south of the country, about 100 km northeast of Helsinki.
To celebrate this tradition, the Finnish Post has issued a special postmark every year (since 2005) bearing the inscription "Seimikaupunki Lahti" ("Lahti Christmas Nativity Scene") for Christmas greetings.
This cancellation, designed by Jukka Talari, changes every year but remains based on the same depiction of the Holy Family.
Entre le 2 et le 16 décembre 2024, ce nouveau TAD a été mis en circulation, représentant une colombe de la paix au premier plan et le clocher de l'église de la Croix ("Ristinkirkko"), l'église principale de Lahti, achevée en 1978 dans un style moderniste, l'un des derniers projets du célèbre architecte finlandais Alvar Aalto (1898-1976).
Ce TAD a été applique sur cette enveloppe (pas sur les timbres...), affranchie avec les timbres de Noël émis le 6 novembre 2024 par la poste finlandaise Posti. Merci beaucoup Liisa !
Ces 2 timbres, conçus par Hanna-Maria Mainelakeus, s'inspirent de la nature finlandaise, mettant en valeur la magie des paysages hivernaux, avec un timbre "Miracle de Noël" (tarif spécial pour les vœux de Noël - 1,60€) montrant un renne devant un arbre de Noël décoré, et un 2ème timbre "Chemin de Noël" (tarif domestique jusqu'à 50g - 2,50€) représentant des rennes se dirigeant vers une maison, sous un ciel multicolore avec des aurores boréales.
Between December 2 and 16, 2024, this new postmark was put into circulation, depicting a dove of peace in the foreground and the bell tower of the Church of the Cross ("Ristinkirkko"), Lahti's main church, completed in 1978 in a modernist style, one of the last projects of the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto (1898-1976).
This cancellatiobn was applied to this envelope (not on the stamps...), franked with the Christmas stamps issued on November 6, 2024, by Posti's Finland Post. Thank you very much, Liisa!
These two stamps, designed by Hanna-Maria Mainelakeus, are inspired by Finnish nature, highlighting the magic of winter landscapes, with a "Christmas Miracle" stamp (special rate for Christmas greetings - €1.60) showing a reindeer in front of a decorated Christmas tree, and a 2nd "Christmas Path" stamp (domestic rate up to 50g - €2.50) showing reindeer heading towards a house, under a multi-colored sky with Northern Lights.
