Du 15 au 18 août 2018 a eu lieu à Prague l'exposition philatélique internationale "PRAGA 2018", 10 ans après la précédente exposition "PRAGA 2008".
Organisée sous le patronage de la FIP, cette exposition coïncidait avec de nombreux anniversaires : 100 ans de la création de la République tchécoslovaque, 100 ans du premier timbre tchécoslovaque, 100 ans de la création du Musée Postal à Prague, 100 ans de la fin de la Première Guerre mondiale et 25 ans de la création de la République tchèque !
Environ 300 expositions étaient en compétition lors de cet évènement (dans des catégories "Philatélie traditionnelle", "Histoire postale", "Littérature philatélique", "timbres fiscaux"...), réparties dans différents lieux de la capitale tchèque : Hôtel Clarion (Prague 9), Musée postal et Musée Mucha (Prague 1) ou Hôtel Olympik Congress (Prague 8).
From August 15 to 18, 2018, the World Stamp Exhibition "PRAGA 2018" took place in Prague, 10 years after the previous exhibition "PRAGA 2008".
Organized under the FIP patronage, this exhibition coincided with many anniversaries : 100 years of the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic, 100 years of the issue of the first Czechoslovak stamp, 100 years of the creation of the Postal Museum in Prague, 100 years of the end of the First World War and 25 years of the establishment of the Czech Republic !
Approximately 300 exhibitions were in competition during this event (in categories such as "Traditional Philately", "Postal History", "Philatelic Literature", "Revenue Stamps" ...), distributed in different places of the Czech capital: Hotel Clarion ( Prague 9), Postal Museum and Mucha Museum (Prague 1) or Olympik Congress Hotel (Prague 8).

Sur ces 6 lettres, Slavek a choisi des timbres pré-personnalisés ronds d'une série (5 timbres différents) émise le 14 mars 2018, ayant pour thème des carrosses faisant partie des collections du musée postal à Prague.
Pour rappel, ces timbres sont de type "Vlastní známka" ou "My Own Stamp" ("Mon propre timbre"). Il s'agit d'un service permettant aux collectionneurs tchèques de créer leurs propres timbres, du même type que l'offre "MonTimbraMoi" proposée par la poste française par exemple.
Ces 5 timbres (tarif "E" pour un envoi en Europe jusqu'à 50g - 35 CZK actuellement) autocollants (conception : Karel Dvořák), avec mention "PRAGA 2018", ont été imprimés dans une même feuille composée de 25 timbres (5 de chaque, tirage : 20000 feuilles).
Le timbre ci-dessus représente un carrosse ayant appartenu au prince Johann Adolf II von Schwarzenberg (1799-1888).

On these 6 letters, Slavek has chosen pre-personalized round stamps of a series (5 different stamps) issued on March 14, 2018, devoted to the theme of coaches belonging to the collections of the Postal Museum in Prague.
As a reminder, these stamps are considered as "Vlastní známka" or "My Own Stamp". It is a service allowing Czech collectors to create their own stamps, the same type as the "MonTimbraMoi" service proposed by the French Post for example.
These 5 self-adhesive stamps with mention "PRAGA 2018" (Europe rate "E" for a shipment up to 50g - 35 CZK currently), designed by Karel Dvořák, have been printed in a same sheet of 25 stamps (5 of each, print run: 20,000 sheets).
The stamp above represents a coach that belonged to Prince Johann Adolf II von Schwarzenberg (1799-1888).

The same postmark "100 years of the Postal Museum" ("Mailbox", design: Zdeněk Netopil) has been applied on the two letters above and below, with respective mentions "Prague 9" and "Prague 8", the first letter concerning the postmark with mention "Prague 1", from the Postal Museum.
The stamp above represents a travel stagecoach ("Cestovní dostavník").
Le TAD ci-dessous avec mention "Prague 8", également conçu par Zdeněk Netopil, comporte la mention "Journée de l'histoire postale" ("Den poštovní historie") et représente une diligence postale.
Le timbre représente une calèche ayant appartenu à la princesse autrichienne Pauline de Metternich-Winneburg zu Beilstein, comtesse Sándor von Szlavnicza (1836-1921), une aristocrate célèbre pour son salon parisien pendant le Second Empire.
The postmark below with mention "Prague 8", also designed by Zdeněk Netopil, includes the words "Postal History Day" ("Den poštovní historie") and depicts a postal stagecoach.
The stamp features a coach that belonged to the Austrian Princess Pauline Metternich-Winneburg zu Beilstein, Countess Sándor von Szlavnicza (1836-1921), an aristocrat famous for its Parisian salon during the Second Empire.
Le même TAD, avec mention "Prague 9", a été appliqué sur la lettre ci-dessous, affranchie avec un timbre représentant la calèche de type berlingot ayant appartenu à l'empereur d'Autriche Ferdinand Ier (1793-1875), également roi de Lombardie-Vénétie et roi de Bohême et de Hongrie.
The same cancellation, with mention "Prague 9", was applied on the letter below, franked with a stamp depicting the berlingot type coach that belonged to the Austrian Emperor Ferdinand I (1793-1875), also king of Lombardy-Veneto and King of Bohemia and Hungary.
Le même timbre a été utilisé sur la dernière lettre ci-dessous, avec un TAD (Prague 1, conception : Zdeněk Netopil) daté du 14 août 2018, son dernier jour de mise en circulation (TAD émis entre le 28 mai et le 14 août 2018), consacré au site internet Exponet.
Exponet est un site (en tchèque, anglais et allemand) répertoriant actuellement plus de 1000 expositions philatéliques (compétitives ou non) respectant les règles de la FIP pour la plupart.
Ce site permet ainsi aux philatélistes d'avoir un accès (plusieurs critères de recherche) à de véritables trésors.
Un des objectifs de cette exposition PRAGA 2018 était en effet de promouvoir ce site Exponet.
The same stamp was used on the last letter below, with a postmark (Prague 1, design: Zdeněk Netopil) dated August 14, 2018, its last day of release (postmark issued between 28 May and 14 August 2018), dedicated to the Exponet website.
Exponet is a website (in Czech, English and German) currently listing more than 1000 virtual philatelic exhibitions (competitive or not) according to the rules of the FIP for the most of them.
This site allows philatelists to have an access (multiple search criteria) to real treasures.
One of the objectives of this PRAGA 2018 exhibition was indeed to promote this Exponet website.
