Suite à une hausse des tarifs de l'USPS (United States Postal Service), le bureau de New York de l'Administration Postale des Nations Unies (APNU) a dû réévaluer ses entiers postaux et aérogrammes mis en circulation le 13 avril 2017.
Cf cet exemple ci-dessous, avec l'ajout de cette surcharge de 1 cent afin d'atteindre le tarif domestique de 50 cents.
L'APNU a ainsi remis en circulation de nouveaux entiers postaux (grand format et petit format) le 25 mai 2018, avec ce tarif de 50 cents.
J'aime beaucoup la simplicité et l'efficacité de cet entier postal, avec ce timbre pré-imprimé et l'illustration à gauche, incluant l'emblème des Nations Unies et la tour de son siège à New York.
Following a rate increase by the United States Postal Service (USPS), the New York office of the United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA) had to re-evaluate its postal stationeries and aerograms put into circulation on April 13, 2017.
Such as this example below, with the addition of this 1 cent surcharge to reach the 59 cents domestic rate.
UNPA thus reissued new postal stationaries (large format and small format) on May 25, 2018, with this 50-cent rate.
I really like the simplicity and efficiency of this postal stationery, with this pre-printed stamp and the illustration on the left, including the United Nations emblem and the tower of its headquarters in New York.

La grande sculpture intitulée "Single Form", œuvre de la sculptrice britannique Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975), est également présente en orange sur ce timbre. Cette sculpture se trouve depuis 1964 sur un socle en granit devant le bâtiment du Secrétariat de l'ONU.
John a complété cet affranchissement avec un bloc-feuillet "Égalité / Colombes" (1,15$ - tarif en vigueur 1ère classe vers l'étranger), conçu par Stranger & Stranger, émis dans une série (6 timbres + 3 blocs-feuillets) émise le 21 septembre 2017 pour commémorer la Journée internationale de la paix.
La Journée internationale de la paix a été décidée en 1981 afin de promouvoir la paix dans le monde.
Le thème de cette journée en 2017 était "Ensemble pour la paix: Respect, dignité et sécurité pour tous", choisi pour mettre à l'honneur la campagne ENSEMBLE, une initiative mondiale des Nations Unies qui favorise le respect, la sécurité et la dignité pour toute personne forcée par les circonstances à fuir son domicile à la recherche d’une vie meilleure.

The large sculpture entitled "Single Form", by British sculptor Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975), is also featured in orange color on that stamp. This sculpture has been installed on a granite base in 1964 in front of the UN Secretariat building.
John completed this postage with a souvenir sheet "Equality / Doves" ($ 1.15 - 1st class foreign rate), designed by Stranger & Stranger, issued in a series (6 stamps + 3 souvenir sheets) issued on September 21, 2017 to commemorate the International Day of Peace.
The International Day of Peace was decided in 1981 to promote peace in the world.
The theme for this day in 2017 was "Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All", chosen to honor the spirit of TOGETHER, a UN global initiative that promotes respect, safety and dignity for everyone forced to flee their homes and those leaving in search of a better life.
