L'église Saint-Nicolas est représentée sur le TAD ainsi que le blason d'Herznach, une cruche verte sur fond rouge, un attribut de Sainte Vérène à qui une petite chapelle est dédiée dans cette même commune.
Le 8 septembre 2016, la poste suisse a mis en circulation les 4 premiers timbres autocollants (tarifs usuels) d'une jolie série courante consacrée à des gares (série qui se termine en 2018).
Le timbre ci-dessous à gauche (1 CHF, conception : Marc Weller) en fait partie, représentant la gare de Lucerne, inaugurée en 1991, construite à la place du bâtiment historique de la gare, ravagé par un incendie en 1971. Cette gare de Lucerne, ville située dans le centre du pays, est un nœud de communication essentiel en Suisse.

On September 8, 2016, the Swiss Post has put into circulation the first 4 self-adhesive stamps (usual rates) of a nice definitive series devoted to railway stations (a series ending in 2018).
The stamp below to the left (CHF 1.00, design: Marc Weller) is part of it, depicting the Lucerne railway station, inaugurated in 1991, built in the place of the historic station building, ravaged by a fire in 1971. This station of Lucerne, a city located in the center of the country, is an essential communication hub in Switzerland.
L'autre timbre (1 CHF, conception : Lisa Behmel), émis le 16 novembre 2017, est consacrée à la Simmental, une pure race de vache suisse, tirant son nom de la vallée du Simmental (Oberland bernois) et aujourd'hui présente dans toutes les régions montagneuses du pays.
Ce timbre a été conçu en référence aux vieilles affiches touristiques suisses, avec cette tête de vache à gauche (incluant fidèlement la position typique des cornes et avec une cloche autour du cou), ce paysage de montagne dans le fond et une carte de la Suisse avec la localisation de cette région de Simmental marquée par le drapeau national.
Cette race de vache est un élément caractéristique du paysage et de l'agriculture suisses, mais aussi un véritable symbole national.
Cette race à usage multiple (traction, lait et viande) bénéficie d'un grand succès à l'exportation, avec environ 50 millions de vaches d'origine Simmental répertoriées dans le monde.
The other stamp (CHF 1.00, design: Lisa Behmel), issued on November 16, 2017, is dedicated to the Simmental, a pure breed of Swiss cow, named after the Simmental valley (Bernese Oberland) and now present in all the mountainous regions of the country.
That stamp was designed with a reference to old Swiss tourist posters, with this cow head on the left (including the exact typical position of the horns and with a bell around the neck), this mountain landscape in the background and a map of Switzerland with the location of this region of Simmental marked by the national flag.
This breed of cow is a characteristic element of the Swiss landscape and agriculture, but also a true national symbol.
This multipurpose breed (traction, milk and meat) is a great export success, with around 50 million Simmental cows in the world.
