Le 13 novembre 2018, la poste moldave a mis en circulation une nouvelle série (4 timbres) consacrée à différentes personnalités moldaves (100ème ou 150ème anniversaire de la naissance) ayant marqué le monde des arts, de la culture et de la politique entre la fin du 19ème siècle et le 20ème siècle.
Conçue par Lilian Iațco, cette jolie série figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessous (tirage : 300) avec TAD de Chişinău (MD-2012). Merci beaucoup Nicolae !
Honneur à l'unique personnalité féminine de cette série (1,75 L, tirage : 200000), la peintre Eugenia Maleșevschi (1868-1942), une des rares femmes ayant exposé dans le cadre des sociétés artistiques de Bessarabie entre 1910 et 1928. Ce timbre la représente (d'après une photographie datant de 1930) ainsi qu'une partie de son œuvre "L'inconnue" ("Necunoscută", musée des beaux-arts de Chişinău).
Son autoportrait (1910) avait déjà été reproduit sur une série (4 timbres) émise le 1er avril 2011.
On November 13, 2018, the Post of Moldova put into circulation a new series (4 stamps) devoted to different Moldovan personalities (100th or 150th anniversary of birth) having marked the world of arts, culture and politics between the end of the 19th century and the 20th century.

Honor to the unique female personality of this series (L 1.75, print run: 200,000), painter Eugenia Maleşevschi (1868-1942), one of the few women who exhibited in the framework of the artistic societies of Bessarabia between 1910 and 1928. This stamp depicts her (from a photograph from 1930) and a part of her work "Unknown" ("Necunoscută", Chişinău Museum of Fine Arts).
Her self portrait (1910) had already been reproduced on a series (4 stamps) issued on April 1, 2011.
George Meniuc (1918-1987), sur le timbre à gauche (1,20 L, tirage : 200000), était un poète, écrivain, dramaturge et rédacteur en chef de "Nistru", le journal de l'union des écrivains moldaves.
Parmi ses nouvelles publiées, "Delfinul" ("Dauphin", 1969), dont un extrait figure dans la partie inférieure du timbre. Une enveloppe pré-timbrée avait été émise en son honneur en 2003.
Le timbre suivant (1,20 L, tirage : 300000) rend hommage au prêtre et compositeur Mihail Berezovschi (1868-1940), considéré comme un des fondateurs de l'école de composition de musique en Bessarabie.
Professeur de théologie et du choeur de la cathédrale de Chişinău, Berezovschi a composé des œuvres populaires ("Hymnes de la Sainte Liturgie" en 1922 par exemple). Il était déjà à l'honneur sur une enveloppe pré-timbrée émise en 2008.
Le dernier timbre ci-dessus à droite (1,75 L, tirage : 200000) est consacré à l'homme politique et vigneron Constantin Mimi (1868-1935), gouverneur de Bessarabie et président de la banque nationale de Roumanie après l'union avec la Bessarabie en 1918.
Constantin Mimi fut en particulier l'initiateur de la construction du Château Mimi ("Castelul Mimi"), terminé en 1900, considéré comme le premier "château" viticole en Bessarabie.
George Meniuc (1918-1987), on the left's stamp above (L 1.20, print run: 200,000), was a poet, writer, playwright and editor of "Nistru", the newspaper of the Moldovan Writers' Union.
Among his published short stories, "Delfinul" ("Dolphin", 1969), an extract of which appears in the lower part of the stamp. A prepaid envelope was issued in his honor in 2003.
The next stamp (L 1.20, print run: 300,000) pays tribute to the priest and composer Mihail Berezovschi (1868-1940), considered as one of the founders of the School of Music Composition in Bessarabia.
Professor of theology and of the choir of the Cathedral of Chişinău, Berezovschi composed popular works ("The Hymns of the Saint Liturgy" in 1922 for example). He was already in the spotlight on a prepaid envelope issued in 2008.
The last stamp above on the right (L 1.75, print run: 200,000) is dedicated to the politician and winemaker Constantin Mimi (1868-1935), governor of Bessarabia and president of the National Bank of Romania after the Union with Bessarabia in 1918.
Constantin Mimi was in particular the initiator of the construction of the Castle Mimi ("Castelul Mimi"), completed in 1900, considered to be the first wine "Château" in Bessarabia.
Nicolae a complété son affranchissement, pour atteindre le tarif en vigueur pour un envoi non-prioritaire de moins de 20g vers la France (9,50 L actuellement) avec 4 autres timbres au verso de cette enveloppe ci-dessus.
Ces 4 timbres (0,65 L et 1,00 L) font partie de la 1ère série courante moldave (5 timbres) émise le 24 mai 1992, représentant les armoiries du pays. Ces timbres, libellés en roubles à l'époque, ont été remis en circulation à partir du 1er février 2006, libellés en lei.
Nicolae completed his postage, to reach the current rate for a non priority shipment up to 20g to France (L 9.50 currently) with 4 other stamps on the back of this envelope above.
These 4 stamps (L 0.65 and L 1.00) are part of the first Moldovan definitive series (5 stamps) issued on May 24, 1992, representing the country's coat of arms. These stamps, denominated in rubles at the time, were put back into circulation as of February 1, 2006, denominated in Lei.
