Timbre "25 ans de l'Institut Européen des Itinéraires Culturels" sur lettre du Luxembourg

L'Institut Européen des Itinéraires Culturels (IEIC), créé en 1998 et dont le siège est au Luxembourg (abbaye de Neumünster), est l'agence technique du programme des Itinéraires Culturels du Conseil de l'Europe.
Lancés par le Conseil de l'Europe en 1987, les 48 Itinéraires Culturels actuels démontrent, à travers le voyage dans le temps et l'espace, que le patrimoine de différents pays d'Europe contribue au patrimoine culturel commun. 
Parmi ces 48 itinéraires transfrontaliers, offrant une multitude d'activités culturelles et éducatives et représentant des ressources clés pour le tourisme responsable et le développement durable, 9 concernent le Luxembourg, en particulier l'Iter Vitis (les Chemins de la vigne), l'Itinéraire européen des villes thermales historiques, les Villes fortifiées de la Grande Région et la Route européenne du patrimoine industriel. 
The European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR), created in 1998 and headquartered in Luxembourg (Abbey of Neumünster), is the technical agency of the Cultural Routes program of the Council of Europe.
Launched by the Council of Europe in 1987, the current 48 Cultural Routes demonstrate, through time and space travel, that the heritage of different European countries contributes to the common cultural heritage.
Among these 48 cross-border routes, offering a multitude of cultural and educational activities and representing key resources for responsible tourism and sustainable development, 9 of them concern Luxembourg, in particular the Iter Vitis (vineyard paths) Route, the European Route of Historic Thermal Towns, Fortified Towns of the Greater Region and the European Route of Industrial Heritage.

Le 16 mai 2023, la poste du Luxembourg a mis en circulation un timbre (1,40€, conception : Barbara Vega) consacré au 25ème anniversaire de cet Institut Européen des Itinéraires Culturels. 
Ce timbre, illustrant des sites luxembourgeois situés sur les 4 itinéraires culturels évoqués plus haut et incluant le logo de cet institut, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 15 juillet 2023 depuis Luxembourg. Merci beaucoup Axel !
Les 2 TADs ci-dessus évoquent la 29ème édition du festival international de la Bande Dessinée organisé les 15 et 16 juillet 2023 à Contern, une localité située à l'est de la capitale, Luxembourg.
En 30 ans, ce festival est devenu une référence dans cette Grande Région (France, Luxembourg, Belgique, Allemagne), pour les amateurs de bandes dessinées, les auteurs (une cinquantaine sont présents chaque année) ou les revendeurs.
Ce TAD représente une partie de l'affiche de ce 29ème festival, conçue par le dessinateur français Thierry Capezzone (né en 1963).
On May 16, 2023, the Luxembourg Post put into circulation a stamp (€1.40, design: Barbara Vega) dedicated to the 25th anniversary of this European Institute of Cultural Routes.
This stamp, illustrating Luxembourg sites located on the 4 cultural routes mentioned above and including the logo of this institute, was used on the above cover sent on July 15, 2023 from Luxembourg. Thank you very much Axel!
The two postmarks above evoke the 29th edition of the International Comic Book Festival held on 15 and 16 July 2023 in Contern, a town located at the east of the capital, Luxembourg.
In 25 years, this festival has become a reference in this Greater Region (France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany), for comics fans, authors (about fifty are present each year) or resellers.
This postmark represents a part of the poster of this 29th festival, designed by the French cartoonist Thierry Capezzone (born in 1963).
