Timbres "80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies" sur lettre d'Inde 

De nombreuses administrations postales (Wallis-et-Futuna, Tunisie, Slovénie, Saint-Marin, Kazakhstan, Moldavie, Nations Unies, Philippines, Namibie, Inde, Émirats Arabes Unis, Belarus, Maroc, Serbie, Monaco, Pérou, Slovaquie, Pakistan, Algérie...) ont émis des timbres en 2025 consacrés au 80ème anniversaire de la création des Nations Unies, reproduisant le logo officiel de cet anniversaire (pour certaines) et parfois son slogan associé, "Construisons notre avenir ensemble". 
Pour rappel, 51 pays ont fondé l'Organisation des Nations Unies en 1945 suite à la ratification de la Charte des Nations Unies à San Francisco le le 24 octobre 1945. 
Le 24 octobre 2025, Journée des Nations Unies, la poste indienne a mis en circulation un timbre consacré à ce 80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies.
Ce timbre (5 INR, tirage : 205686) a été utilisé en 6 exemplaires sur la lettre ci-dessous, envoyée le 4 janvier 2026 depuis Margao (État de Goa). Merci beaucoup Elton !
Pour célébrer ce 80ème anniversaire, la poste indienne, en collaboration avec le ministère des Affaires étrangères et MyGov, a organisé un concours national de création de timbres. Près de 740000 élèves y ont participé, exprimant avec créativité la vision de l'Inde en matière de leadership mondial et de multilatéralisme.
Ce timbre reproduit le projet gagnant, une création de Shrestha Majumdar. Cette initiative témoigne de l'engagement de la jeunesse indienne en faveur de la paix, de l'unité et d'un progrès mondial durable. 
Several postal administrations (Wallis & Futuna, Tunisia, Slovenia, San Marino, Kazakhstan, Moldova, the United Nations, the Philippines, Namibia, India, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Morocco, Serbia, Monaco, Peru, Slovakia, Pakistan, Algeria, etc.) issued stamps in 2025 commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.
These stamps reproduced the official anniversary logo (for some) and sometimes its associated slogan, "Building our future together."
As a reminder, 51 countries founded the United Nations in 1945 following the ratification of the UN Charter in San Francisco on October 24, 1945. 
On October 24, 2025, United Nations Day, the Indian Post issued a stamp commemorating this 80th anniversary of the United Nations.
This stamp (5 INR, print run: 205,686) was used six times on the cover below, sent on January 4, 2026, from Margao, Goa. Thank you very much, Elton!
To celebrate this 80th anniversary, the Indian Post, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs and MyGov, organized a nationwide stamp design competition. Nearly 740,000 students participated, creatively expressing India's vision of global leadership and multilateralism.
This stamp reproduces the winning design, created by Shrestha Majumdar. This initiative reflects the commitment of Indian youth to peace, unity, and sustainable global progress.  

Ce timbre, ne comportant pas le logo officiel de ce 80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies (il figure sur le FDC officiel), représente une colombe de la paix tenant le drapeau de l'Inde dans son bec, avec l'emblème des Nations Unies dans le fond.
L'Inde et les Nations Unies partagent un engagement en faveur du multilatéralisme et du dialogue, qu'elles considèrent comme essentiels pour relever les défis mondiaux. En tant que plus grande démocratie du monde et membre actif des Nations Unies (depuis le 30 octobre 1945), l'Inde a contribué à la réalisation des objectifs de l'ONU dans les domaines suivants : consolidation et maintien de la paix, développement durable, lutte contre la pauvreté, action climatique, désarmement, droits de l'homme, santé, migrations, cybersécurité, espace et technologies de pointe telles que l'intelligence artificielle.
La poste indienne a déjà émis des timbres commémoratifs à l'occasion des 9ème, 40ème, 50ème et 75ème anniversaires de l'ONU, respectivement en 1954, 1985, 1995 et 2020. En 2016, la poste indienne et l'Administration postale des Nations Unies ont conjointement émis des timbres pour le mouvement de solidarité HeForShe d'ONU Femmes. 
This stamp, which does not feature the official logo for this 80th anniversary of the United Nations (it appears on the official First Day Cover), depicts a dove of peace holding the Indian flag in its beak, with the United Nations emblem in the background.
India and the United Nations share a commitment to multilateralism and dialogue, which they consider essential for addressing global challenges. As the world's largest democracy and a full member of the United Nations (since October 30, 1945), India has contributed to the achievement of UN objectives in the following areas: peacebuilding and peacekeeping, sustainable development, poverty alleviation, climate action, disarmament, human rights, health, migration, cybersecurity, space, and advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence.
The Indian Post has previously issued commemorative stamps to mark the 9th, 40th, 50th and 75th anniversaries of the UN, in 1954, 1985, 1995 and 2020 respectively. In 2016, the Indian Post and the United Nations Postal Administration jointly issued stamps for UN Women's HeForShe solidarity movement.
