Bloc-feuillet "Jeux olympiques de Milano Cortina 2026" sur FDC d'Ukraine
Le 27 janvier 2026, la poste ukrainienne a mis en circulation un très
joli bloc-feuillet, composé de 4 timbres (4 x U - 24 UAH), afin d'encourager l'équipe olympique d'Ukraine ("Олімпійська команда України") lors des jeux olympiques d'hiver de Milano Cortina (Italie), organisés du 6 au 22 février 2026.
Intitulé "L'esprit et la force de l'Ukraine", ce bloc-feuillet (conception : Volodymyra Tarana, tirage : 55200) figure sur le FDC ci-dessous (tirage de l'enveloppe mise en circulation le 26 décembre 2025 : 15000) avec TAD de Kyïv. Merci beaucoup Roman !
L'emblème du comité olympique ukrainien est présent sur chaque timbre, sur le TAD et l'enveloppe, ainsi que dans la marge du bloc-feuillet à gauche, les montagnes des Alpes italiennes figurant dans le fond.
4 des 11 disciplines sportives dans lesquelles les athlètes ukrainiens (25 hommes, 21 femmes) étaient engagés à Milano Cortina 2026, sont illustrées sur ces timbres : patinage artistique (Kyrylo Marsak), luge (6 hommes, 4 femmes), saut acrobatique (4 hommes, 5 femmes) et biathlon (5 hommes, 5 femmes).
On January 27, 2026, the Ukrainian Post issued a very attractive souvenir sheet, composed of four stamps (4 x U - 24 UAH), to support the Ukrainian Olympic Team ("Олімпійська команда України") at the Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, Italy, held from February 6 to 22, 2026.
Entitled "Spirit and Strength of Ukraine", this souvenir sheet (designed by Volodymyra Tarana, print run: 55,200) is present on the first day cover below (print run of the envelope issued on December 26, 2025: 15,000) with cancellations from Kyiv. Thank you very much, Roman!
The emblem of the Ukrainian Olympic Committee appears on each stamp, on the postmarks and the envelope, and in the margin of the souvenir sheet on the left, with the Italian Alps in the background.
Four of the eleven sports in which Ukrainian athletes (25 men, 21 women) competed at Milano Cortina 2026 are featured on these stamps: figure skating (Kyrylo Marsak), luge (6 men, 4 women), aerials (4 men, 5 women), and biathlon (5 men, 5 women).
Dans le contexte de l'agression russe en cours, les athlètes ukrainiens se sont préparés pour les jeux olympiques dans des conditions extrêmement difficiles, en temps de guerre.
Malgré tous les défis, le sport ukrainien continue de se développer et de révéler de nouveaux talents. À travers les exploits de ces athlètes, le monde entier découvre le caractère de la nation ukrainienne : la résilience, le travail acharné et la capacité d'aller de l'avant.
L'équipe nationale ukrainienne participe aux jeux olympiques et paralympiques sous le drapeau d'un pays qui connaît la valeur de la liberté, forgée dans la lutte et l'unité.
A Milano Cortina, les athlètes ukrainiens n'ont pas remporté de médailles mais ont montré au monde entier leur force de caractère et leur courage.
Le Comité International Olympique a injustement disqualifié Vladyslav Heraskevych (skeleton) pour avoir continué à porter un casque orné d'images d'athlètes tués lors de l'invasion russe de l'Ukraine. Il a reçu la médaille de l'Ordre de la Liberté des mains du président Zelensky le 14 février 2026. Gloire à l'Ukraine et bonne chance pour les jeux paralympiques de Milano Cortina 2026 !
In the context of the ongoing Russian aggression, Ukrainian athletes prepared for the Olympic Games under extremely difficult conditions, in a time of war.
Despite all the challenges, Ukrainian sport continues to develop and reveal new talent. Through the achievements of these athletes, the world is discovering the character of the Ukrainian nation: resilience, hard work, and the ability to move forward.
The Ukrainian national team participates in the Olympic and Paralympic Games under the flag of a country that understands the value of freedom, forged in struggle and unity.
In Milano Cortina, Ukrainian athletes did not win any medals but showed the world their strength of character and courage.
The International Olympic Committee unjustly disqualified Vladyslav Heraskevych (skeleton) for continuing to wear a helmet adorned with images of athletes killed during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He received the Order of Freedom award from President Zelensky on February 14, 2026. Glory to Ukraine and good luck at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games!
