Découverte de l'insuline - Premier Jour

On November 18, 2011, the French Post has issued in general sale a special stamp (€ 0.60) devoted to the 90th anniversary of the discovery of insulin.
This stamp, designed by Stéphanie Ghinéa (print run : 2,000,000), was issued in preview sale on November 17, 2011 in Paris (at the "Carré d'Encre" and at the French Association of people with diabetes) and in Caen (at the North West district pole).
It is that stamp that appears on the FDC souvenir above made at the "Carré d'Encre". Thank you very much Joël :-)

I was lucky to receive the second First Day Cover above issued this time in the city of Caen (Normandy). Thank you very much Stéphane :-)
To note that the FDC cancellation, rather successful, was also designed by Stéphanie Ghina.
Unfortunately, this letter has once again been sabotaged with the application of this ugly mechanical cancellation at its passage through a mail processing center (CTC No. 21618A) of Caen :((
I don't know if some other postal administrations have also commemorated this 90th anniversary ?
