Expo 2011 à Sindelfingen - Oblitération spéciale

Sindelfingen Stamp Fair 2011 - Special postmark

From 27 to 29 October 2011 took place the 29th edition of the International Philatelic Exhibition in Sindelfingen, a town located in southwestern Germany (Baden-Württemberg), near Stuttgart.
I was lucky to receive the two philatelic souvenirs below posted on October 28, 2011 at this Fair. Thank you very much Olivier and Franz :-)
The illustration to the left on the "PlusKarte" below shows a view of Sindelfingen and also the four flags (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein) of the countries present at this Salon, having exhibits in competition.

Thirty postal administrations (including France) were also present or represented at this Stamp Exhibition.
To note that one of the attractions of this 29th edition was a very rare letter written by the Dalai Lama, dating from 1640...
The prepaid card above, specially issued for this show, is franked with a stamp (about which I've already spoken on this blog), issued on January 2, 2008, devoted to the Monastic Island of Reichenau, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2000.

You can find the same special postmark on the cover above, including the slogan of this Exhibition "Meine Marken, Meine Idee" ("My stamps, My idea").
To note that two other cancellations have been issued at this Show, devoted respectively to the 125th anniversary of the automobile (Stamp Day) and to the "Jupex-Americana" youth exhibition, devoted to American Indians.
Franz has used on his letter above a stamp, issued on October 13, 2011, dedicated to the ingenuity and to German inventions, in particular through three emblematic objects of everyday life for which patents have been registered in Germany : the Gramophone (by Emil Berliner in 1887), a magnetic tape used for tape recorders (by Fritz Pfleumer in 1928) and MP3 player (by the Fraunhofer Institute in 1987).
