150th anniversary of ITU in Malaysia and Romania

On May 17, 2015, the World Telecommunications and Information Society Day (WTISD), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) officially celebrated the 150th anniversary of its creation, following the signing in Paris of the first International Telegraph Convention and the creation of the International Telegraph Union.
Created in 1865, the ITU (headquartered in Geneva), composed of 193 member states, is the oldest specialized agency of the United Nations, dedicated to the development of information and communication technologies (ICT).

Many postal administrations have already issued this year some stamps or other philatelic products devoted to this 150th anniversary of ITU : Serbia, Monaco, Croatia, Uruguay, Bangladesh, Vatican City, Switzerland, Thailand, Bulgaria, Russia, Moldova...
The Malaysian Post has also put into circulation, on May 17, 2015, a series of three stamps dedicated to this anniversary. Thank you very much Khor for this first day cover above, with cancellations from Ipoh regarding this complete series :-)
The official logo of this 150th anniversary of ITU is included on the postmarks as well as on the envelope (to the left) and on each of these three stamps featuring the evolution of means of communication : from the invention of the telegraph and telephone then radio and television to satellite communications and the internet...

I don't know if the Romanian Post is planning to issue soon a stamp devoted to this 150th anniversary of ITU but in the meantime, a special cancellation was put into circulation on May 18, 2015 by the Bucharest Post Office 37. A special envelope was published for this occasion by the Philatelic Association of Bucharest.
It is that envelope I was lucky enough to receive with this special cancellation including the ITU's logo. Thank you very much Mihnea :-)
To note the illustration to the left on this envelope showing a map of Romania (quite different from the current map) dating from the time of ITU's foundation, including the main telegraph connections.
The stamp (L 3.60) used above is part of a set of four stamps, issued on December 17, 2014, dedicated to great inventors (Tesla, Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci), Thomas Edison (1847-1931) here, who contributed to the industrial development of the incandescent bulb.
