Cette entreprise comptant environ 50000 employés, est contrôlée à 60 % par l'état suédois et à 40 % par l'état danois.
Malgré cette entité commune, les 2 pays décident chacun de leur politique d'émissions de timbres.
PostNord (Suède) avait été la 1ère à mettre en circulation son timbre EUROPA en 2016, le 14 janvier précisément, et paradoxalement, ce timbre figure sur une des dernières lettres reçues cette année ;)

As a reminder, PostNord AB (its name was changed to become PostNord in 2011) is the name of the holding company resulting from the merger of the two postal administrations of Sweden (Posten AB) and Denmark (Post Danmark) in June 2009.
This company, with around 50,000 employees, is controlled by the Swedish state (60%) and the Danish state (40%).

PostNord (Sweden) was the first to issue its EUROPA stamp in 2016, on January 14 exactly, and paradoxically, that stamp used on one of the last letters received this year ;)

Pour rappel également, dans le cadre du 60ème anniversaire de l'émission des premiers timbres CEPT / EUROPA (en 1956), l'association des opérateurs postaux publics européens PostEurop a organisé un concours afin de désigner le dessin commun reproduit sur les émissions EUROPA en 2016 ayant pour thème l'écologie en Europe via le slogan "Think Green!".
C'est le dessin conçu par Doxia Sergidou (Poste chypriote) qui a été choisi parmi 24 projets, symbolisant la responsabilité de l'homme pour transformer le gris (pollution de l'environnement) en vert (énergies renouvelables...).
Ce timbre autocollant (14 SEK) est commercialisé sous forme de rouleau composé de 10 timbres.
A noter que PostNord travaille constamment à réduire son empreinte écologique avec pour objectif de réduire les émissions de dioxyde de carbone de ses activités de 40% d'ici 2020.
As a reminder too, as part of the 60th anniversary of the issue of the first CEPT / EUROPA stamps (in 1956), the association of the European public postal operators PostEurop organized a competition to designate the joint drawing reproduced on the EUROPA stamps in 2016, devoted to Ecology in Europe via the slogan "Think Green!".
It is the drawing designed by Doxia Sergidou (Cyprus Post) that was chosen from 24 projects, symbolizing man's responsibility to transform gray (environmental pollution) into green (renewable energies...).
This self-adhesive stamp (14 SEK) is marketed in the form of a coil made up of 10 stamps.
It should be noted that PostNord is constantly working to reduce its ecological footprint with the objective of reducing its carbon dioxide emissions by 40% before 2020.
