Le 24 septembre 2019, la poste turque a mis en circulation un timbre (2,30 TL, tirage : 100000) représentant un portrait de Gandhi.
Ce timbre a été utilisé en 4 exemplaires sur la jolie lettre ci-dessous envoyée depuis la ville de Mersin le 7 novembre 2019. Merci beaucoup Tolga !
Gandhi est représenté à l'intérieur d'un cercle aux couleurs du drapeau indien (safran et vert), avec plusieurs oiseaux en haut à gauche (des colombes de la paix je suppose) mais je ne sais pas à quoi fait référence le fond de ce timbre (partie blanche sur fond gris) ?

Gandhi is represented inside a circle bearing the colors of the Indian flag (saffron and green), with several birds on the top left (doves of peace I suppose) but I do not know what this stamp's background refers to (a white part on gray background)?
